Digirunt Posted July 15, 2003 Posted July 15, 2003 After about 50 shots I finally managed to get a panning shot of a dragonfly yesterday. It's not exactly david bailey but I was pleased to have got it. The dragonfly is the little dot in the middle. Quote
Mav2u Posted July 15, 2003 Posted July 15, 2003 I'm sensing you have a lot of patience, and a lot of spare time on your hands. Awesome shot using panning technique! Mav Quote

TCH-Don Posted August 3, 2003 Posted August 3, 2003 Cool charlotte Thumbs Up I don't have a pic, but I had an orange 79 mustang that I loved, till a drunk driver hit it. Mad!!! Quote

TCH-Don Posted August 3, 2003 Posted August 3, 2003 Ohh! memories! I had a 67, 68 and 70 Camaro. The 67 was the best! Quote

ztrauq Posted September 6, 2003 Posted September 6, 2003 A pic of the radio station where I work... The interesting thing about this is that it was taken with a digital camera a little smaller than a 15-stick pack of gum and costs something like $40 - the downside, obviously, being that the picture qulity leaves a little to be desired. axeman Posted November 3, 2003 Posted November 3, 2003 this was snapped by a city medic on a fire we had last month. Hotel Montford Rock Sign Quote
TCH-Don Posted November 25, 2003 Posted November 25, 2003 Wow Rob! pretty! Thumbs Up I still like the green one with the yellow eyes the best (Here is a pic of one of my babies.) what kind is it? Quote
TCH-Rob Posted November 26, 2003 Posted November 26, 2003 Don, The one like my avatar? It is a Green Tree Python, Morelia viridis. Native to Northern Australia and New Guinea as well as the surrounding islands, they are not an extremely social snake and a bit awkward on the ground. They aren’t a snake for the masses. They have large teeth and a hefty price tag but have some of the most stunning colors of any snake. Quote
TCH-Don Posted November 26, 2003 Posted November 26, 2003 Yep, stunning is the word. Makes me want to pet it When I was a kid, all I had was a few garden snakes, not pretty, but fun. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 Since we havent had posts here for a while I will donate some more pics of my friends. First is my baby, though the pic isnt that great. She was 12 feet, 4 meters at this point. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 Here is another angle to give an idea of her girth. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 OK, I am kidding. That was a rabbit. Here she is when she is hungry. This is a Papuan Python by the way. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 Here is a better shot of her in the bath, she was about 10 feet at this point. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 A pair of White Lipped pythons I had, about 6 feet each. Nasty as all get out too. I couldnt get in to clean without getting nailed. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 (edited) One more, I don't want to bore everyone. Another shot of my Green Tree Python. Edited March 5, 2004 by TCH-Rob Quote
bellringr Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 OK, I'm feeling dense. How do you do the little thumbnail pic to have it open up the big pic? Quote
TCH-Dick Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 use the attach file feature, it isnt available on the quick reply Quote
bellringr Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 Testing... If this comes through, this is my kitty, Cleo Quote
bellringr Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 This is a picture of the moon over the Sandals Regency in St. Lucia. I'm afraid my digital camera is a dinosaur at 1.3 megapixels, but one works with what one has. It was neat to see the moon there because we never see it at that angle here in Illinois. Quote
bellringr Posted March 5, 2004 Posted March 5, 2004 This is the last one tonight, I promise! Here is a pic of the gazebo at the Sandals Halcyon in St. Lucia. Couples who get married at the resort often have their receptions there. By the way, if anyone is thinking about traveling to a Sandals in St. Lucia, feel free to e-mail me at kristi@gryfalia.com and I'd love to tell you all about it or answer any questions. Quote
Ninepatch Posted March 6, 2004 Posted March 6, 2004 A man and his pipes! Thumbs Up Came across this fella at the 1993 Edinburgh Cultural Festival, he was one heck of a piper. It's one of my favorite images of the many I've taken on trips to Scotland. Oh, and his HD pipes were pretty good looking, too! Quote
Ninepatch Posted March 6, 2004 Posted March 6, 2004 Thought I'd put this one out for those who love "the game" - me, I'm with the guy who said it's an awful thing to do to a perfectly nice walk! This is the Club House and Pro Shop of the Old Course St. Andrews with the North Sea in the background. Quote
P.T. Posted March 9, 2004 Posted March 9, 2004 Here's the boss in our house. (She's our little weenie dog, a real sweetie). Quote
Ninepatch Posted March 14, 2004 Posted March 14, 2004 These pretty ladies showed up in my garden on March 9th - which for northern Ohio is a real treat! Of course, 3 days later we had snow, but they are holding their own and have been joined by purple and white crocus! Yeah, Spring will be here in 7 days!! Quote
bellringr Posted March 15, 2004 Posted March 15, 2004 Those are beautiful! I can't wait to see flowers blooming again even though I'm not a fan of hot weather at all. Quote
Bunni Posted March 15, 2004 Posted March 15, 2004 Such beautiful flowers, Ninepatch! A few of my neighbours have reported the beginnings of tulips and crocuses here in southern Ohio but I haven't been out to check them out yet. Nothing like getting into the spirit of Spring with first flowers of the season. Quote
Ninepatch Posted March 16, 2004 Posted March 16, 2004 Thank you - and my purple and white crocus are jumping right up with them! Now, the weather folks have issued a winter weather advisory predicting up to 6 inches of snow by Noon Tuesday! You gotta love Ohio weather!! Quote
ThumpAZ Posted March 16, 2004 Posted March 16, 2004 Here is me in Sedona, AZ from a few yearas ago... the Jeep still looks similar, but has a LOT more under the hood now Quote
