  1. We have taken this server (higgins.tchmachines.com) down for an emergency disk maintenance. We will update this forum post when the server is back online and all services restored. We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.
  2. The issue you are experiencing is due to the content hosted by the previous owner of that domain. I recommend starting with the following two actions to clean things up. 1. Submit this form to suggest the appropriate category. https://sitereview.bluecoat.com/#/lookup-result/trinitystoybox.com 2. Sign up for Google and Bing webmaster accounts. This will let you better track what those search engines are doing and allow you access to the removal tools at https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/removals and https://www.bing.com/webmaster/tools/content-removal
  3. Migration Complete! If you encounter any problem with your account after this migration, please contact support immediately.
  4. As part of the continued improvements to the TotalChoice Hosting server farm, we will be migrating all accounts on this server to a new server between December 30 - January 3. This will provide you with more power, stability and potential to further expand your business. You will not need to make any IP changes or DNS modifications from your end if you are using our nameservers. If you are using external nameservers or pointing the domain via IP from outside, you will need to update the IP to the one mentioned below. Please note that this needs to be done only after the migration is repo
  5. We have a planned upstream service outage scheduled for tomorrow morning, April 05, 2019, at our DC3 location. The maintenance window is between the hours of 00:00-06:00 EDT (12am-6am), with an expected down time of 10 minutes or less. This outage will impact several Internal TCH servers and a few VPS servers that have IP addresses starting with 192 or 198. Thank you for you understanding and support.
  6. I hate to over simplify things, but in this case it seems appropriate due to the scope. When you combine the hardware affected by Meltdown And Spectre together, everyone is affected in some manner, which includes us. Regarding our shared/reseller hosting servers, we begin patching these servers as soon a Centos released the updates. We have yet to see any decrease in performance and are still testing and monitoring.
  7. Did you create your database yet? Those two fields should be your database user and password that you set when creating the database. If you are unsure, feel free to open a ticket to our desk at https://support.totalchoicehosting.com and one of our techs will assist. There is also the Softaculous Auto Installer in cPanel, which will do the install for you.
  8. Hi John, I could see that permissions on that directory were set to 750. I have now changed them to 755 and the directory appears to be loading fine. Please check it out and let us know if the issue continues.
  9. Edward, This should not affect access to your site, however, you should update your WordPress install to be safe.
  10. The only date we can guarantee would be the "Security Support Until" date, however, 6 months beyond that is a safe assumption. We typically support versions beyond the EOL date and review for changes as needed. As long as a version does not prevent or interfere with our ability to maintain our servers, we will do our best to support it as long as possible.
