  13. It's a Microsoft Exchange "feature". Since Exchange supports rich-text email (bold, italic, multiple fonts, etc.), and Internet email doesn't, any email sent from Exchange to a non-Exchange mail reader will contain an Attachment called WINMAIL.DAT. If you use Exchange, you won't see this file, and the message will retain its formatting. However, it can be confusing for those who don't use Exchange (You, I, and the majority of the Internet population), and have no use for this file. In MS Outlook and Outlook Express: On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format (or "
  14. When you set up the database in cpanel did you also assign a user to it? When you entered the database username and datbase name in the config did you use cpanelname_databasename for DB name and cpanelname_username for username?

  16. OK, after playing around a bit with YABB, I'm not impressed, but maybe i'm spoiled with invision power board and phpbb (both of which are available as one click instals in your cpanel)
  17. ok i just set up YABB on my site, the config is pretty simple so i'm betting you got that right. One thing that was kind of a pain in the butt is chmoding all those files. First thing i would do is go back thru and make sure all the files are chmoded correctly. Also, when you uploaded did you upload images in binary and script/code in asci?
  18. it doesnt matter which webmail you use, they all log into the same server (if you delete mail in horde, you wont be able to access it if you use squirelmail etc)
  19. I dont use YABB, but I did install it once to see what it was al about, if you dont get an answer soon i'll install it again and maybe i can give ya a hand.
  20. I have a subdomain for gaming reviews on my site and it is updated by a staff member (I'm not a big gamer) The way i understand it is as long as your not selling space on your account your ok.
  21. if you forward maile sent to addressa@****** to addressb@yourdomnain.com there is still a copy of the forwarded mail left on the addressa account. So, unless you log into addressa and download all the messages, or delete them they stay on the server. Is the account that is full one that is checked daily and messages are downloaded?
  22. one of the network admins would be the ones that would probably need to look into it. Head_Guru will see this post i'm sure and take whatever action is needed.
  23. forwarding mail from one account to another doesnt remove the mail from the original account mail was sent to (if that makes sense) I forward all of my mail sent to news@x-trememodz.com to a staff member so that they can post any news that i might miss or just not have time to get to, but I still recieve a copy of the e-mail at the original address it was sent to.
