What did you end up using to get your images back?
-
Ah yes.... forgot to mention..... Welcome to the Forums! Let us know your status.

Tried your patch and it did resolve the problem with embedded flash on a couple pages. Unfortunately it did not resolve the same problem for applets that are also experiencing the dotted lines around and "activation required" notice. Will try to implement the other to see if it resolves all the problems. Welcome to the Forums!

Check your user name and password entry for case sensitivity. mypassword1 is not the same as MyPassword1

Today marks three years since opening my first account (and moving my personal site) with Total Choice Hosting. When I signed up, I thought it was a great deal. But three years have passed since then. In that time, I have seen other hosts implode. Total Choice is built differently and has only gotten better in those years. While TCH has grown, it has maintained the things that have set it apart from others. Management has made decisions that are surprising and exciting! Most hosts only replace servers when they fail, then fail then fail. TCH follows a different model, upgrading equipment often so the customers don't feel a deterioration. In my humble opinion, TCH still ranks top markings, 10 of 10 in quality of service, timeliness of response, communication with customers (this forum rocks), and concern for excellence. The value of the hosting packages has increased in the three years making it even BETTER than it was when I signed up, with more space and more bandwidth and more features while still charging the same cost!! Server up-time has been excellent, even through major hurricanes and other potentially disastrous events. Though I will never meet the people that keep TCH servers running so smoothly, I wish I could say a heartfelt THANK YOU to them in person. These folks have done remarkable job keeping systems hardware in working order, keeping loads down so our sites don't drag, fighting spam and other attacks. (In my minds eye, I visualize them as a knights on the parapet fighting off the invading marauders.) I tip my hat to the quality of this service. My experience with TCH has been unique. None of the other hosts that I have dealt with come close. THANK YOU TCH and Head Guru! I look forward to another three years!

I don't think it's love of money. It's whether or not something has value or gives you pleasure in some form. My coin bottle is a heavy door stop 99.99% of the time. Even in that incarnation, the coins have value. The time it takes to roll the coins so they can be cashed in is out of proportion to the value of the coins themselves. I am paid far more than that for my time! But gathering and rolling them is a relaxing hobby that nets a few extra dollars for a special trip/event! In my case, the activity itself gives more pleasure than knowing that you get some spendable money from it. By the way...the main reason that UK gas prices are so high? TAX RATE on the gas! In US our tax rate is far less than in UK on same product. Take a look at this: h**p://www.answers.com/topic/fuel-tax

I use the 404.shtml in public_html folder also. Easy!

Sure....pickup up that penny! I've got a 2 foot tall coca-cola shaped bottle that has all kinds of change in it. Twice I have gotten it nearly full and believe me, it adds up to some nice $ when you cash it in!

Welcome to the Forums! When we moved our corporate site to TCH, my boss said it has to be too good to be true...too many options and low cost....I was told to keep an eye on the account and move it at any sign of problem. That's three years ago and its just getting better! TCH has a no-tolerance policy on SPAM, WAREZ and other nasties (so keep your scripts up to date!). This helps to protect ALL of us on the servers, keeping them healthy, and running smoothly. Hope you decide to choose Total Choice Hosting. I deal with other hosts (because I must ) and TCH is by far the best of the lot!

Hang in, someone will come along on this issue. But in the meantime, you may want to visit their support forum for specific information from others that use the script. http://www.mkportal.it/support/index.php Sometimes the forums offered by these products can be VERY helpful.

It is exactly on the mark for the value of my home. It uses public records to search for data. The home across the street sold a few months ago and several further down the street too. When I worked at the bank we had to pay for a service company to gather this data for us. Many second mortgages we did were based on reports almost identical to these. Bad side to this type of thing: If you are in an area without similar homes that have recently sold, the valuation will be flawed. Nothing or non-similar homes to compare causes faulty estimates,

Have a wonderful day ladies!

In the version of WSFTP that I have, you must access the ADVANCED PROPERTIES to get to a tab that says STARTUP. Type in public_html in to the REMOTE SITE FOLDER field. Say ok, then be sure to SAVE your settings. From that point on, you will open within the public_html folder! You can see a screen print of the WSFTP program settings for one of my TCH websites on this page: h**p://www.samisite.com/publish/using_ftp.htm Note that I have used the /public_html and without the slash and both work.

Please see this thread on the topic. TCH is growing, offering more services and to do that, a unified theme that supports the exisiting functions and new functions that will be coming soon needs to be implemented. Many people, including me, have expressed dismay over the X theme. If you read the other thread you will see that TCH is looking for a better alternative that supports the new features and is supported by cPanel. Stay tuned for more updates on this issue... (Moved the thread for better organization)

Yup was going to say it is better to keep replying on the same ticket so the trail of what has been done, who has responded and time frame is identified. Sometimes there can be more than one issue that must be resolved and having it all on same ticket is helpful.

Welcome to the forum and the Family! I use AnyPassword to keep my passwords and find it simple and easy

You didn't mention it but just want to make sure.... The pages you are loading on the TCH account are being placed into the public_html folder?

I agree with the previous posts. Maximize the resources you are trying to offer before looking for other content. I don't usually critique sites or offer recommendations on them. But I found your ukraineonline.net site difficult to read in some areas and thought you should know. Very heavy black or heavy bright blue font against a stark white background made my eyes hurt. You have large paragraphs of information that are overwhelming to the eyes. No images and just stark heavy text is very difficult to read online. Might be fine on printed paper but online, it's just too glaring. Clicked off the page instead of reading further. Maybe updating the look would make it more inviting. Apppears that some of your content comes from other sites (hope you have permission for re-printing the information).

*TCH-Samrc was thinking (but not suggesting) "tell me how you really feel"

Oh yea....definitely agree with this one! If it is not my ISP, it is my cable company "tweaking things" near me....

I have Outlook and it can sometimes be downright cranky! It will run beautifully for months then suddenly can't get emails, with no connection. Usual cuprit? My antivirus/spam programs! Though I have used a variety of these programs on two different machines, the one constant has been the Outlook program. What has happened 4 different times: Updated AV or spam catcher program, and during the update/patch the path to the server gets changed! Doesn't happen very often, not with every update, but once in a while, when the program itself is updated (not just the definitions) my settings gett "adjusted". Bruce, believe it or not, when I get my settings correct, my TEST does work for me.
