Dark, Sorry about not getting here sooner, new kung fu classes are kicking my backside. I am happy to see you got it working. Dont forget, if you want to change colors and the like you can do so in the CSS file. Let me know if you have more questions about OSC and I will try to help. I have been running my OSC for some time now and would be happy to help.

Darq, Forgive the ignorance but isn't there a clock in your task bar that has the current time?

try wiki.oscommerce.com, lots of good info there
-
Jeziut, You need a gateway and a card processor. You can get some good information from this discussion; http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...?showtopic=4649

I think I am confused. The dot com path to change the default server address? Are you referring to / public_html / catalogfolder / includes / configure.php?

Jim, Get some sleep man, stop trying to compete with HG.
-
Jason, Come on in, the waters warm. As Jim said many of us never sleep. The silver plan is a great plan for the price. You get tonnes of things in your cPanel to play with as well as all the space. And if you haven't noticed already, these forums and the family are a great place to visit. Looking foreword to seeing you around here more often.

Siggiegirl, Welcome home

I am using osCommerce. What issues are you having?

Arizona here, almost 100% Scottish.

Ken, You can transfer your domain to TCH and renew it here. You may also purchase a new domain and park it on top of the old one. You say someone else owns the old domain. If that person is the administrative contact they will have to respond to some emails that will be sent during the transfer. You will have to set up the email accounts in cPanel with the same names to ensure they will continue to work correctly. When you say can we facilitate the move are you asking if we can do it for you?

Conniew, I am not just a mod here but a customer as well. My experiences before I started helping on the forums have been great. Of the few outages I have had to go through all were taken care of quickly and I was informed every step of the way in these forums. I haven't had to submit many help tickets aside from having an SSL installed, but they were taken care of with a fast response time even though I had said it was low priority. I have worked for a few hosts and some I didn't use even though the account was free. No hosting company is up 100% of the time but you will find that the 99 uptime is on the money. Not only are the employees willing to help with anything we can but our brothers and sisters here are here for each other as well. I can sing praises all night long and prefer to let our family do the talking. Read the forums. People don't use Rock Sign because it is a cool smiley it is because they truly believe Rock Sign.

Hotlink Protection Disables Frontpage?
TCH-Rob replied to OrangeHairedBoy's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
I guess not as discussed here http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...?showtopic=4088 -
One really needs to examine their code carefully. I know you have looked already but it is worth it to try again. I edit my osCommerce in Cpanel sometimes and it will add a "return" at the close of ?>. I have to put my cursor after the ">" and hit the delete key a few times to be sure. I am not trying to push this on you or say you didn't do a good enough job I just don't think there is any other option. I will be happy if someone can show me another option.

Bill, I want one. Pleeeeaaaasssseeee!

You shouldn't need to put the IP in Outlook for an email address. I use username@****, I don't like to use IP just in case there is a problem and the IP has to change. If I am not aware of the change I will not get mail. Should you really need the IP you are on you can always ping your domain name.

So that's what RageRank is, I thought Darq was a Scooby fan.

EditPlus here as well.
-
AH HA! oh wait, wrong forum. The CPanel method puts Options -Indexes in the .htaccess file for you. So if you are not comfortable editing the file you can use the click method to get it there.

You can buy a case at a time? Dang, I need to go to a new store.

Welcome home Chuck
