Well I havent found out why a fly can't bird but I have found the cause of the problem. After buying a new mobo as ECS and I dont get along it hit me. As I started the computer the hard drive was not found. Some playing and I got it to recognize the hard drive but would blue screen every time the OS tried to load. I then ran Fdisk and reformatted the entire 60 gigs. I tried to load the os and the install would hang every time. I put in a spare 2.1 gig and I got a perfect install. I am off tomorrow to buy a new hd. Funny how things work out. The only thing left to replace is the CPU now and I will have a new computer.

Web protect works at the folder level. For one page I would use .htaccess. You can see a tutorial here; www.cgiextremes.com/extras/Tips_Tutorials/htaccess.html. Others here may have some ideas as well.

How To De-activate An E-mail Account
TCH-Rob replied to hindixp's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
In your cPanel go to Manage Accounts in the E-Mail section. Next to each account there is a delete option. You can remove the account and it will not have an effect on any of the others. -
Looks like you have 30 days left. It's one of those rules imposed by ICANN that states a name can not be transferred for 60 days after a purchase or a transfer. It is designed for the safety of a registrant.

You can do it via the robots.txt file or just have no links to that portion of your site. You can look here to see how to make the robots.txt file www.robotstxt.org/wc/robots.html

Julia, You could go with any of the plans you want but from an account management standpoint you realy may want to consider a reseller package. It gives you the option to control the space and bandwidth used by each account so those that need more can have more. You have two choices when you say transfer. First is just logging in at Two Cows and pointing your name servers here and second is moving the entire name here. You can do that here; Domain Name Transfer

Don, The one like my avatar? It is a Green Tree Python, Morelia viridis. Native to Northern Australia and New Guinea as well as the surrounding islands, they are not an extremely social snake and a bit awkward on the ground. They aren’t a snake for the masses. They have large teeth and a hefty price tag but have some of the most stunning colors of any snake.

I see we've made you an offer you couldn't refuse. Welcome to "The Family". Congratulations Dick. Thumbs Up

Works for me. Nuke site right? Blue color? I am going to say it is because propagation has not completed on all of the root servers across the internet and that some ISP cache information is not updated yet. At this point all one can do is hang in there.

Richard, I will have to leave it to the Gurus to say if there is a plan for a one page type site. I can not recommend another host that offers that type of service as I have never looked for that myself.

I am not really giving up. Ever feel like you have been doing this for so long that you know all of the steps to fix it? This shouldn't happen to "my computer". I need some fresh eyes on it so I am gonna have a go at your ideas Raul. If it werent for the wife I would be running BSD all the way. I am gong to go sit and find out why a fly can't bird but a bird can fly, then I am going home and fix this dang thing.

Grrrrrrr, it has started again. There are two things I have not replaced. My hard drive and my motherboard. One thing I have noticed is that my NIC is using the same IRQ as my vid card. It matters not if I use the onboard NIC or disable it and use my 3COM card. Either way they still use the same IRQ as given by windows and it will not let me change it. I am flustered and ready to give up on this whole computer thing, I am going back to my Commodore.

Willy, as in Clinton

You can find that here; http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...?showtopic=5047 Two accounts at $4 each is only $8 a month. That's a movie ticket here in Phoenix.

Chris, Welcome home. As Don stated, I would start there and implement the suggestions offered. Maybe a link to your site would help us with other suggestions we can give.

I would try FTP, File Manager isn't the best at changing permissions.
