By the way Dom, if you are talking about the wood working site. I do not see a frames page, just the regular index page. Did you upload the main index and the nav page? If so then you may just need to change your current index page to main or whatever you called that page.

Ok, I did it. I got a new hosting account for my reservoirblogs.com name. Now I need to learn CSS so I can modify the templates as the ones that are on the MT home page aren't working right with my site. Thanks guys, now I have even less time to do things with the family.

I am not sure about the dilution theory unless we are talking about individual pages with multiple items on them. Here is why I say this, many of the items I sell will come up on the first two pages, if not the first for the individual items I sell. I have over 900 items. I know it isnt alot of items but still. Now I have only one item per page and each page is optomized for that product, or trying to be optimized. I think the issue is that these companies arent optomizing their pages like they should be doing. This was before Google started making changes. I think I have only 100 pages indexed now, trying to figure what happened.

When you are doing the validating are you uploading the file from your hard drive or give the validator the URL of the page online? You cant validate the page until after it has been parsed.

So I have been living with this dang computer freezing every five minutes for the past 4 months trying to figure it out. Well, I have done it. The other day I had upgraded my video drivers for my gForce 4 and now not only did it freeze all the time everything moved like it was a movie with every other frame removed. At the same time my boss at work was having an issue where her video would go blank, get white squares and other strange things. Now I had Googled my issue and hadn't found a thing. I Google her issue and find that on certain ECS K7S5A motherboards with a specific BIOS version running nVidia graphics cards had the issues she was describing. There were also those that had my problem. I look at the website for ECS and they have many BIOS revisions for my board but nothing I could find that specified my issue. Some of the others on the message board I was reading lost their boards not installing the correct one. At this point I figure I have two options. New motherboard or video card. I go to my local computer store and there is an ATI Radeon 7000 for $30. I know it isn't the best card but if I am going to spend much more I may as well get the Dragon motherboard I want instead. I get home, install the card and have not had one minor lock-up or anything. Man, I am glad thats over.

osCommerce will do everything you are looking for. I use it and it works perfect, and it is pretty easy to use. I dont think you will have any issues accomplishing what you are looking for.

Christy, I have seen degrees in web design before at some tech schools I think if you are freelancing they will be more interested in what you have done that if you can pass a test. I started my own business by getting a tax ID number from my state and making my web site. I have done some of the things Scott has said needed to be done and I have several sales a month. You have to get the word out however you can because you have much competition in that arena.

I will go with Ted on the first one. I have been playing with it while trying to develope a PHP version and it seems to do as it says. Unless I am missing something, you cant damage your site rankings by using this as nowhere does it ask what your website is nor is it asked when you get your key from Google. I am not giving a full "Rob" recommendation of this product so still use at your own risk.

I may need to get a new account so I can try the blogging thing out. Of course I will need to have David give me a hand.
