Yeah, I really love AWStats as well. So much information in one spot! When I first started it kinda overwhelmed me, but now it's a nice thing to have to go back to and check up on.

Hah, just 9 views and you're already worried? Come on now! I'd be very careful about this. If it doesn't have to do with somebody or something that relates back to your site I wouldn't do it. Just because Aunt Sally is stuck at hotmail, doesn't mean we need to rescue her. One or two pictures might slide by us, but still this is against the Acceptable Use Policy. Your webspace should only have to do about your domain. The Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy are also pretty clear on this. As long as it's legal, its okay. However this might be of some intrest to you. It's from the AUP: As far as how your punished if you go against the AUP or TOS, it's up to us and the situation at hand. Best rule to fallow is read the Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service because if you signed up with us, that mean's you've agreed to fallow them. Nah, you shouldn't have too much to worry about if its just a few words here and there on your site. Just make sure you don't fall into the gutter of being a site like that is mentioned above or we'll have to suspend you. No potty-lanugage on the boards though! This is a family place!

We don't allow multiple domains to be hosted on one plan (unless you're a reseller) so the answer to your first question is no. For the second question, yes we can. Just drop in a ticket at the help desk telling us what domain name you want us to park on top of your current one, and we'll right right on it!

Very cool stuff, both this tutorial and the last. Good to see some user submited content here that's helpful and fun to read! Only problem is instead of naming each one PHP tutorial 1, PHP tutorial 2, and so on, how about giving us a little one or two word definition like: php tutorial 3: fun with includes! That way if there are lots more or at least some more (crossing my fingers) it won't be so hard to navigate through them. Good job though, once again.. I really enjoyed it, and think you spoke in a lanuage people can actually understand! Maybe next time, you can show people how to set static php headers and footers they can use on every page instead of having to update each one. I know thats one of my favorites.

Yeah, this would be a waste of money, no doubt. What's the advantage of working on CPanel from your desktop than a browser window? More or less, you'd be paying more for information and access you're already getting. I'm with KW on this one, wouldn't hold my breath on this one either.

You could put in a help desk ticket so we could be sure that you have the database set up correctly, other than that I'd reread the b2 install instructions and like the old saying goes.. If it doesn't work the first time, then try try again! Just think of it as a learning experiance.

I believe rayners is right. I just did some looking around and it only shows up on threads I've posted something in. The reason it's not for you might be because on some of your posts you've made, you've done them as a guest and haven't been logged in. Ohh well, we're moving to vB as soon as a converter comes out for it, so then you'll have a whole new system to learn.

Yep that's correct, you'll need to replace that exact name too with your new image, or you'll have alot of hand coding to do changing it all up. Just be sure to name your new banner "logo_phpBB.gif" and put it in that folder over-writing the old one and you should be good to go! On the avatar issue, I'm not sure if you can do that or not. I think pretty much by defaults you either allow them to upload their own, or use no avatars at all. Another work around would be to upload a selection of "acceptable" avatars for them to pick from, that way you wouldn't have to worry about the avatars running wild. Hope this has helped!

Using KW's sugestion, I think I've fixed it. Instead of having a desktop link, I have a link in my links bar in IE. I deleted it, then went to the page and recreated it. Now it seems to be working.. *crosses fingers*

Oh, my problem has gotten even more bizzare. Now when I go to the bored, I'm not logged in. Then I click on the "Login" link (not having to log in yet) and then it shows me as logged in.

Well there's still the issue of it not remembering my password, but that's because the board hates me. It's not a cookie issue either, cause I've deleted cleared, and kicked my cooies in the pants, still not wanting to do right.

What's the domain name?

It might do that if you click the "remember me" when the logon window comes up, but other than that you shouldn't have a problem. Might try clearing your history, other than that I'd be sure your matching the right login with the right password.
