  1. I'd say it'd probably be easier just to use the one built into the CPannel.
  2. Good stuff, can't hardly wait! TCH Rocks
  3. Your credit card will be charged every month for your hosting fees... You can buy your domain name and your new hosting at the same time, but they won't be a combined payment. We'll try not to! Hope this helps!
  4. Your URLs have been edited because we do not allow "spamming" on these boards. Please do not do this again, because all it does is clutter the boards and leaves for some unhappy people. Thanks, and please don't let it happen again. If you spam again, you will be banned.
  5. Best thing I can tell you right now is to stay tuned!
  6. Adding phpnuke to your main page would require you to get your hands dirty a little bit with some codding, and if you don't at first suceed then you gotta try try again. Below I've added some links to some threads about phpnuke that are from this board's past disscusions on it. Hope this helps you make your dessision! http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...339&hl=php+nuke http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...413&hl=php+nuke
  7. very nice indeed, a good find!
  8. You might want to take a look at the Form Mail clone that's offered through CPannel. Here's the Help site's page on it: http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/help/id65.htm
  9. It always seems to take a while for sites to really get going through the search engines, even after three months.. just the way the wacky world wide web likes to treat us. As far as getting hits up and advertising; I always say word of mouth is usually the best way to go. This friend tells that friend and passes it along to the next guy or gal. You might also try searching for some sites with simular intrests as yours, and asking the webmaster or owner of the site to trade links with you. This is another fairly easy way to get some new people into the site. With reviews or asking people what your site needs or could use, feel free to add a link to your site and post under the Website Reviews. Lots of helpful people will give you some good information about what you need, don't need and what could give you a more stranger friendly site. Hope this helps!
  10. Thanks Bill! I'll make a note of it and keep it in mind just in case others run into this same problem..
  11. No, can't say I've had this problem either... You might want to put in a help desk ticket about it, see if one of our staff can take a look around inside and see what the problem is..
  12. Not a problem.. one thing I did find while going through those is the ones with the most power, which was needed to do what you wanted to do cost moolah.. Sometimes building it yourself is the best thing to do though, when you can't find what you need! If anybody else has a good sugestion, I'm sure they'll lend in an opinion.
  13. I've been a fan from a far I guess you could say.. Always wished I could get into it, but don't know if I could pull myself away! Is the GameCube version really good looking? If so, anybody want to let me barrow a few hundred dollars?
  14. Not exactly sure about the details on this, since I'm the new guru on the block, but you might find some helpful information in this thread that could help you out. I'll leave this open though to any of my other fellow gurus to tackle though! Good luck! Update! I found this thread written by the head guru that covers having an existing domain name. Main thing that changes is when setting the DNS information, you'll have to point it towards the place you have your name right now.
  15. Wow, that's pretty nice! I'm impressed with how quickly it loads as well.. thanks for the link!
  16. Not a problem! That's what we're here for!
  17. Lets see if I can help you out! The way I found out was by getting your IP Address (given to you in your "Welcome" e-mail). Then on the TCH Help Website, on the main page under "Sever Information" click on "List of TCH Severs and IP addresses". Then all you need to do is search for your IP address in the list, and there you go! Hope that helps!
  18. Just after a quick search on Google, I found these... http://javascript.internet.com/calendars/ http://scripts.surfzilla.com/calendars.html http://cgi.resourceindex.com/Programs_and_...Perl/Calendars/ Might try a few of those out, and see which one suits your needs the best! Good luck!
  19. I've been scanning the board all day almost for people in need of help, and I've gotta say, I'm loving it! Thanks to the all and mighty Bill for getting me onboard. I'll do my best to help out in any way, shape or form I can! I look foward to meeting even more of the Gurus, and to everybody else.. I hope I can serve you well! These fellow gurus set some pretty high standard, but I'm up for the challenge! TCH Rocks
  20. If I were you, i'd go back and double check some things... 1. Did you CHMOD the files correctly? 2. Did you upload the files correctly? (Making sure you upload the /images folder in binary and everything else in acsii) You might even check to be sure you added data base user to your data base in MySQL. I've had the problem a time or two on my blog, and usually it's solved by going back and double checking what you did. If you take MT off your site totally and reinstall it a few times and it still doesn't work, then I'd do a search at the MoveableType forums and see if you could find anything relevent to what you're looking for. Hope this helps! Also, check out this thread I just stumbled apon on this very board for some more help and insite on this very topic!
  21. Hmm.. this is a tough one! Have you tried just in case, trying to run one of the mirror scripts hosted at the other places on the site? Might just be one direction to go.. I'll leave it open to any other gurus that want to give a second or third opinion though!

    Iframe

Another thing about I-Frames to remember is to leave some sort of menu or return link to your main page. That way if a search engine links to this page, the visitor finding your page through the search engine won't be lost on where to go to see more great content!
  23. Happy 20th Birthday Bill! May you have plenty of happy birthdays in the future as well..
  24. Hehe.. Bill you took the words right out of my mouth! Gotta love Steve Martin's responce to it though. Saying that the teamsters were helping Mr. Moore into the trunk of his limo..
  25. I think it'd be a nice feature, and I'd play with it just to try it out. I thought for a while I might switch to it, but right now I'm too spoiled to MT.. but offcially I say good idea and... TCH Rocks
