Try renaming the file to something without spaces. You might also try using an ftp program to rename or delete the file. I use Filezilla and it is a free program.

The problem should be fixed. Let us know if you have any other problems.

When I worked for a certain major reseller of electronic equipment we had a computer that had been sold three times and in to the service department (located in another city) 8 times. Every time it came back because it would freeze up. When it came back from the shop the last time my manager told me to test it before putting it on the sale table. It froze up. He asked if anyone wanted it for $50 so I bought it. Figured I'd use it for parts and such. I took it home and ran a memory check program and the ram tested bad. Spent another $50 for a new stick of memory and popped it in. That was nearly five years ago. It still runs and never freezes up.

Thanks for the link. I installed the iSearch program and set up a test crontab and it worked fine just as you have it. Setting it up to run weekly should be no problem. Let us know how it works.

Andy is exactly right. If you want both domain names to point to the same site just set up the one you want to use as your primary domain name with an account and then submit a Help Desk ticket and give us the name of the second domain and we will park it on top of the first one.

The .htaccess file enables you to password protect directories, set up hot link protection, and much more. I found a website here that explains more. If you are using Front Page it also will use the .htaccess file among others to store information. The file will be recreated and you should suffer no real problem in deleting it. If you notice anything acting strange on your site let us know and we can take a look at it.

One fairly new feature on cPanel is the Raw Log Manager. You can have it save your log each day to a file. It will append the current day's log to the end so you have a complete monthly log. You need to enable it since it is off by default. It will even delete it at the end of the month if you wish although I plan to just download mine to keep locally.

Your statement is not completely true. Our servers don't support resuming ftp uploads but they do support resuming ftp downloads. It is possible for misuse of uploading and as a result resuming ftp uploads is by default turned off in the ftp server software. I have hosted here since January and have uploaded some pretty large files and never had any problems (other than the frustrating cap my ISP puts on upload speeds.) I actually had to test and insure that ftp download resume was possible since I don't ever recall having to use it. If you are having problems with uploads you should check and be sure you are using passive mode.

DO be aware that some registrars will not allow a transfer the first 60 days after registering a domain. You can still have the domain point to an account here. Give us the domain name and we can see how it might work.

Yes. It is under an option called web protect in the cPanel. I use it for a couple of folders and it works fine.

Gallery is not a part of the cPanel add on programs. SquirrelMail is now available by entering http://******/sqmail.

Yeah, that's where I installed mine as well. I just renamed the directory and did a little editting and it coexists fine.

I would echo the idea of submitting a Help Desk Ticket. It is fairly simple to fix the problem but will need to be handled on our end.

If the file is in your cgi-bin directory then to run it you would use http://www.bronerfamily.us/cgi-bin/simpleforum.cgi to run it. The error message you are getting could be several things. If you look in your error log you will see more information that could help. My guess is that it is a permissions problem. If the error log (found in your cPanel under the Stats section) says that it can't execute or that a directory is writeable then you need to change the permissions. Try setting the permissions of the file to 755 using the File Manager in cPanel if it is not already set to that.

I've updated the lastest servers to include the "Welcome to Server##". And since I seem to remember that it bothered Queen Lianna that it wasn;t centered, I've even added that little formatting.
