You cannot register subdomains only top level domains. So if you wanted to register whatever.blogspot.com wouldn't work as Blogspot owns blogspot.com. You could however register whatever.com as long as it hasn't already been taken.

Using webmail: Webmail, port 2095 is non-secure, 2096 is secure Accessed as https://******:2096 If your email clients supports SMTP over SSL, you could enable that and try port 465 at mail.******.

Yeah, Bonnie (Bunni) doesn't have that problem either. Ive tried a fresh install of FF and it never resolved the issue. Well since I don't use FF to read the forum so I have never encountered that problem. But I think Bonnie has.

There is a limit to the file sizes that can be uploaded through PHP. I think it is 2MB. There was another post about it but I cannot find it.

I read this forum from three or four different machines. There seems to be a problem with FF remembering which posts I've already read between machines. Never happens with IE. Plus the fact that I have to re-enter the passwords to all the forums each time I log in to the board which I never have to do with IE. Of course I haven't tried with FF 1.0 so maybe that's all fixed. Last time I tried it was .8 or .9 and it would retain the info for me. I use the View New Posts feature every time I come to the boards since I am a mod I read every post entered. I try to help where possible. It's just more efficient for me to use IE since I do this from work as well as at home.

In cPanel what do you have the default address set to for your domain? If you don't want email coming to you for accounts that do not exist enter :fail: in the box instead of an email account. Moving for organization. Oh and welcome to the family!

As VI says, get links into your site from related sites. Is that how these sites are getting better visibility? I have the same problem with our company site. If someone does a search on "accounting" our site isn't in the first 1000 pages. But if they narrow the search to "construction accounting" we appear on the first page. "accounting" is too broad a term to search.

Doubtful you will ever get a good rank on a single word like Madonna. I could be wrong but you are competing with thousands of sites using Madonna as a keyword.

Hi Mad, You can use your NEW domain name here. But if the domian is locked at Bloghosts you will have to wait until they release it or transfer it to use. You should open a help desk ticket (link at top of this post) to support. They may still be able to transfer your content over from Bloghost. Worth a shot.

Depending on the FTP client it's as simple as drag and drop. See the FTP Help Page. There is even a movie tutorial there.

Hi Dori, Don't know which cPanel skin you have but it should be listed under Addon Scripts. If it's not there please open a Help Desk ticket (link above) so that one of the techs can update your site. If you have a reseller account you will need to purchase your own SSL certificate.
