A forum would work. You could also set up another folder in your domain and use cPanel's Password Protect feature on the folder.

My day job is as a software developer. I would never release an archive that contained anything that may be harmful. When I saw the message I decided they were not a company I felt comfortable dealing with. If that's in there, who's to say that something else (perhaps worse) may be embedded in the code. Maybe I'm paranoid, I felt safer without it on my system.

Do you have a copy of the files before your edits? I would put them back and start over testing as you make changes. Moving for organization.

Invision should be a choice in your cPanel to install. It's not the current version being offered by Invision. If you want the current version you can download it from their site and install it here. Of course the new version also has a license fee so you would have to pay for it. Moving for organization.

What other SSI includes are you using? You could also put a copy of the nav.html file in your archive folder and use the SSI include <!-- #include file="nav.html" --> Also my example was wrong: Should have been: <!-- #include file="/home/cpanelname/public_html/nav.html" -->
-
Can you change your archive pages to .html? And you could remove the .shtml from the AddApplication entry in the .htaccess file.
-
In your .htaccess file add the following to use the PHP include. AddType application/x-httpd-php .htm .html .shtml
-
While it may be the same include you are several levels down in your directory tree. Have you thought about changing to using a PHP include instead of the SSI include? It would look like this:
-
Have you tried replacing the http include string with the root path? <!-- #include="/home/cpanelname/public_html/nav.html" -->

I still like using HTML-kit. http://www.chami.com/html-kit/

Sorry, I have to ask. Do you have the FrontPage extenstions installed in your account? You do this through cPanel. Have you tried uninstalling them and reinstalling them if the are installed already?

I downloaded that once and discovered the archive had a virus in it so I never did go back and try downloading again. Sort of ticked me off because it looked interesting.

Phpbb Critical Update
TCH-Bruce replied to The Modern American's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Welcome to the family. And please check out the thread that Thomas references. -
As far as I know the sort order applies to the whole forum and not just a section of the forum. You could open the welcome thread, add something to get it above the other pinned topic and close both of them to get them in the order you want.

How To Install Interchange Shopping Software?
TCH-Bruce replied to bh-Man's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Welcome to the family! It should be under cgi-scripts or add-on scripts. If you cannot see it listed in your cPanel please open a Help Desk ticket to support (link above) and request that it be added to your cPanel. Thank you.
