To show our gratitude and appreciation for all of the hard work and time our moderators devote to maintain the forums, we are bringing back the “Moderator of the Month” Award.

The only problem is that they all do such a good job, so we need your help to decide. All you have to do is cast your vote for the moderator you believe deserves it the most. Then we will present each month's winner with a $50.00 gift card to Amazon.com.

WAIT… don’t vote yet!

Since we have not done this in a while we are going to start off with a special prize. Instead of a gift card, the winner of this month’s award will receive a new PC.

Prize:

eMachines T5026

Intel Pentium 4 3.06GHz

512MB DDR

160GB HDD

DVD±RW / CD-ROM

Flash Media Reader

Intel Graphics Accelerator 900

10/100Mbps LAN

Windows XP Home

Please take the time to vote and remember, only one vote per member please.

We will close voting at the end of the month and make the official announcement on the 1st.

Hmmm. I didn't realize that viewing the results meant you'd never again get the chance to vote, so I guess I didn't get to vote this month.

Guess I'll have to vote next month. Sorry!

Yes, well, if one of you lose by one vote, I guess you will always wonder if that is where my vote would have gone.

Then again, maybe I don't want that responsibility. I might get lynched! :thumbup1:

At least we can't blame "hanging chad's".

65 Votes!

Thats just sad :(

We have over 6000 registered members on this board and thats all the votes so far.

Come everyone help us out, VOTE!! ;)

It's tough to choose from a group of people that each one has always been there to help out. At my age, I had to cast my vote from the most recent memory of moderator interaction but they all derserve my appreciation. ;)

Good Luck to all!

My choice would be split between Don and Thomas as these are the only two I have had non forum related conversations with. That and some of the others have seriously annoyed me by locking threads where they either didn't agree, or didn't like, what the person posting was saying. This includes one reseller who was annoyed at TC sending emails direct to his clients thereby negating his role as reseller.

That and I'm not overly keen on all the "Welcome to the forums" posts. I mean you have a problem so you sign up to a forum to get help. You make your post then get 10 emails saying you have had a reply so you think great my problem is solved. Except it isn't, just lots of welcome posts.

Anyway time to find a coin to help me decide between Don and Thomas.

Carbonize,

Regardless of your feelings about this forum, why would you take such a positive thread and turn it into your personal soap box! You are off base and in my view wrong.

If you do not like the forums here at TCH, then I suggest you do not visit them any longer. Why put yourself thru such agony.

Thread's get locked for various reasons all of which are for the moderators to decide. Not the users of the forums.

The moderators on these boards are all non-paid volunteers. They don't get a dime for spending the amount of time they do here. I for one think they do a excellent job on the forums. If you don't like them or the forums then simply go away.

As you well know problems can not always be solved by one moderator. So instead of ignoring a post they simply say hello to the poster. Where I come from that's called courtesy.

Enough said.

Let's get this topic back on track.

Wow, it's closer that I thought it would be. I placed my vote for a fellow mod and was surprised by the closeness, but with so few votes I guess that's to be expected.

Come on folks, surely you have an opinion - everyone does - let's hear who you think has done the best job this month! These guys I am pleased to share the title of "Moderator" with all do a great job so let's make it a hotly contested race instead of "Yeah, you got 30 votes - congratulations" ;)

Hi.

I am I can thank to everybody, everybody even, by so much patience, dedication and good will.

My English is horrible and you attend me. :)

Without the forum do not I be sure TCH would have so much success. :tchrocks:

Congratulations Forum Moderator Team and TCH Team.
