  1. No problem at all! We host websites around the world, so this should be a-okay!
  2. Bill and myself have been working around the clock and doing a lot of work around the Total Choice Web Hosting website! Web Hosting Plans/Reseller Plans/Dedicated Plans Pages Updated We went through and re-categorized the tables so you can better understand what exactly fits where. Also we now give links on each benefit that we offer, so you can get more information on everything we offer. About Total Choice Web Hosting The page has been given a major overhaul to provide our customers with even more information about us. Now we go into detail about our collocation, detailed pages on each of our data centers, and also a look at our “Project Hawk-Eye”. All good information if you want to know more about what goes on behind the scenes here at Total Choice Web Hosting. Help Desk The help desk has been given a little bit of a make over to better fit in with the rest of the Total Choice Web Hosting pages. Still the same functionality, it just looks better now. Jeering Jargon The Jeering Jargon’s main index has been updated a little to look more professional and organized. This is just one more place you can find my older columns and interviews. These changes along with many other smaller ones is just one more sign that Total Choice Web Hosting is always willing to give back to it’s clients and potential clients to provide them with the best information possible about our services. Also we do have another special announcement to be made soon! I’ll leave you all in suspense for now, but I will tell you to keep an eye on the Total Choice News forum!
  3. Hmm.. could you give us a link to your site, so we can see it in "action" or not so much action as the case might be.
  4. Well, truth be told.. even on cPanel's official site, the documentation only goes up to cPanel 5, hopefully they will be rolling out with a new documentation soon. If you want to see what version of Cpanel you're really using look down in the lower left table, it lists it there.
  5. Glad to hear you're thinking about coming over to us! To answer your first question, after you've paid all accounts are set up in 6-12 hours. (depending how busy we are on the day you sign up) To upgrade, all you need to do is put in a help desk ticket, and we'll walk you through the process. No you won't have to loose money, or loose the payments you've already made. We do provide PHP MyAdmin along with a plethora of many other 3rd party products. Here's a list of the 3rd party products we do provide. Yes, the 30 day money back promise is for real, and there are no questions asked. No hidden costs at all, and set up is totally free! Hope to see you with us soon!
  6. Well hits are more like the number of times a link has been hit or a page has been gone to. Unique visitors are actual individuals, and number of visits could be the unique visitors going more than once. Also yes, it will count the number of times you access the page as well.
  7. Thanks for the kind words. Right now we don't have any referring plans in place, but we might consider it for future plans.
  8. You won't be able to change the pre-installed SquirrelMail package on your account provided by us. Any changes to that would have to be done by us, and then done to the whole server as well. So if you want to set up a diffrent SquirrelMail, go ahead and through doing that you should be able to figure out which plugin to use. Have a nice day!
  9. Total Choice Web Hosting does not allow multiple domains to be hosted on the same plan. However we do allow for domains to be parked on top of one another, as long as they are pointing at the same page on the same domain. To achieve what you want to do you'll either need to: purchase a new plan for each domain. or set up each page as just a sub-domain. or bump up to a reseller account, where you can create as many accounts as you would want, give each it's own CPanel control.
  10. In Cpanel, go to "Backup" under site management, there you can find out how to create a back up of your site/sql databases and how to download them to your personal computer.
  11. Looking forward to working with you Mark!
  12. Welcome to the family! Hope you continue to have happy days here!
  13. Yes, we could reach a deal simular to this I belive. Anytime you want to upgrade just put in a help desk ticket and we'll get things worked out!
  14. Let me guess that you set up gallery before your domain name fully propigated? I've seen this problem a few times before, and only way I know for sure to get rid of it would be to re-install gallery. If you could get into the gallery config files though, you might be able to set the path of your site back correctly, not 100% sure. So I'd try that first, and if all else fails reinstall it, the second time making sure you put your domain name instead of your exact server path.
  15. You don't need to put the full path into your mt.cfg file. All you need to do is create a MySQL database, then a user with a password. Then give the user access to the database. Then you put the fallowing into the MT.cfg file: >ObjectDriver DBI::mysql Database username_databasename DBUser username_databaseuser Once you've done that, save it and then open your mt-db-pass.cgi file, and then delete what's there and put in your password. MoveableType installs are really an art form to learn, best advice I can give you is just read and re-read the instructions.
  16. Good to hear.. Yeah, learning the template tags can be a big task, just take it a little bit at a time. Also just read through the help files inside your install of Moveable Type, that's where I learned most of my stuff.
  17. I'd be very careful of "barrowing" other people's templetes unless they have given you permission. Not against the law, but it'll get you on a few people "bad" side pretty quick. Now for learning or experimenting I'd say it's okay, but anything else you might want to make sure they are open to the public to use. Each template has it's own point of "being". I wouldn't change those all up right now. Instead you might try playing with changing the stylesheet of the blog your working on. Thats where you'll get most of the control issues down and all. MoveableType has some free default style sheets I'd recomend you check out if you want something to play with right now.
  18. Yes, you don't have to have everything linked up. Just upload the pics, or upload the pics and the page they are on and then you can tell somebody you wanted to show it to that they were at that exact address.
  19. It's going to be very tricky to manage to get any height elements to work, and you'll probably need to use CSS and an even harder point would be making it work across all browsers.
  20. After signing up for the plan that you wanted, you should have received an email with a "click-to-pay" link inside so that you could make your purchase. If you can't find it, send me an email mitch@totalchoicehosting.com and we'll see if we can get this figured out.
  21. See what I do is take a can of vienna sausages, dump them out into a bowl. Then take three slices of bread, rip them in half so I have 6 peices of bread. Then you take the vienna sausage and wrap it in the bread.. then you have... poor man's pigs in a blanket!
  22. No, you're not. Here's the link to the reseller's plan page.
  23. If you had a reseller account you could just create a whole new CPanel for your new domain name! We don't allow parking of domain names on sub-domains though, it's against the Acceptable Use Policy. We can however park say domain.com and domain.net on top of each other, as long as they both resolve to the same page.
  24. Haha, yes anything with the Monty Python name on it should also be added to my list as well..
  25. Pretty much leezard's way is the fully functioned version and mine was the stripped down version. Either should do what you want.
