  1. Could you please put in a help desk ticket so we could look at the issue for you? Thanks!
  2. You can set up an unlimited amount of email accounts for every plan. Also yes, you are correct on the sub-domain issue, they are set up in CPanel. If you have any other questions, please let us know!
  3. I edited out the link to the other hosting provider your mentioned. Now going back to your question, we provide three diffrent shopping carts for you to choose from. Details on our shopping carts we provide can be seen here. We belive having our clients go to a 3rd party processor is a more secure road to travel down, and so we do not handle client processing ourselves. There are many good alternatives out there such as 2checkout.com or paysystems.com .
  4. I don't belive so, since Squirrel Mail is set up through cPanel, not us. If there were any changes or additions it would have to be done server-wide as well. Sorry!
  5. Yep, tonight is the big night! Just looked at your case Mike, very good work!
  6. Looking forward to seeing you with us Angie!
  7. Could you please e-mail sales@totalchoicehosting.com? From there we can see what the problem is, and then resend you a link so that you may pay for your account. Also I am moving this to the pre-sales questions forum. Talk to you soon! Thumbs Up
  8. Paul Capello, the webmaster of thebestcasescenario.com will be on TechTV's The Screensavers this Monday! Feel free to talk about this topic here! I know I'll be setting the VCR for this one! Thumbs Up
  9. Paul Capello, the webmaster of thebestcasescenario.com will be on TechTV's The Screensavers this Monday! Here is the artical on the show segment, for those of you who wish to check it out. Also, our very own Mike Hermon (MikeH) is also featured in the story as well as the contributor of the motherboard used in The Matrix: Rebirth 8.0 Case Mod. For those of you who don't remember, Paul was also featured in the first MySite Showcase client interview, and really knows his stuff. He was a joy to interview, and I'm really happy to see him get a few moments in the spotlight. From everybody behind the scenes here at TotalChoice Hosting, I'd like to wish Paul the best of luck, and hope you all tune into the show! The times for the show are: Monday, September 8, 2003 - 7:00pm (EST) 6:00pm (CST) Tuesday, September 9, 2003 - 8:00am (EST) 7:00am (CST) Tuesday, September 9, 2003 - 12:00pm (EST) 11:00am (CST) Go here to discuss this with your fellow family members!
  10. Sorry MoonFaery, seems like it's a lazy Saturday afternoon for most of the family! Lets see what I can suggest though. Well, cPanel has a counter built in, but it sounds like you want to build your own. I did a few searches somewhere, and couldn't find any free scripts out there that would suit your needs, but have faith I'm sure one of the other family members will have what you're looking for!
  11. Lets see if I can answer some of those questions! No real way to tell from our standpoint how much bandwidth you're going to use. You can upgrade to the next highest plan though if you start to run out of bandwidth so that shouldn't be an issue. As far as shutting the forums down for customization, I believe InvisionBoard has an internal setting under Admin that will allow only mods and admins to see the board. Thumbs Up Yes you can un-install the forums, or put them offline as a mentioned above. We don't provide skin support, but I'm sure more than a few people would be willing to help you out if you get stuck. IBPlanet.com is probably the best resource I've found for those types of things as well.
  12. Dave, if you were to put in a help desk ticket we could look at the situation for you and see if we can find the issue.
  13. Thanks for the kind words! Thumbs Up
  14. Mr. Frisk Could you put in a ticket at the help desk so we can take a look at this for you? Thanks!
  15. Please check out this thread for a discussion on our sub-domain policies. That should do a pretty good job of explaining things. Also in the next few days, we're going to work on adding a new pinned "Pre-Sales" topic that will hopefully better define and make our stance on this more clear for the clients. Now with that being said, in your case: I would say hosting your own blog or your girlfriend's blog would be okay, but the hosting of client demo sites makes me a little worried. As long as you are not charging for the services of sub-domain hosting though, you should generally be okay. Also remember that we do not allow domains to be parked on top of sub-domains. Hope this helps explain your situation a little better.
  16. Alf, I'm about to PM you with some details that we need on your account. Then we can hopefully get this all underway for you!
  17. Since this isn't a sugested product or program I am moving this thread to pre-sales questions. Please be sure in the future to post in the correct forums. Thanks! Thumbs Up
  18. Yes, in fact look for more on it pretty soon!
  19. Since you got the name through TotalChoice Hosting, you shouldn't have to worry about that stuff.
  20. Not a problem! If you ever need anything else, make sure you let us know!
  21. Not a problem Madman! It sounds like you have already gotten your welcome email, so all you need to do is register your domain name. For safety sake, when you get to the part about already having an account, just skip over where it asks you to login, and fill out your information bellow. This way we'll be sure there are no problems with your signing up. Then once your domain name is registered, it will take 24-72 hours for propigation then you should be set! If you have any questions, feel free to email sales@totalchoicehosting.com and we'll take care of you.
  22. jscfan, send me a board PM with your domain name and I'll see if I can track down the problem with your account not being set up yet. Thanks!
  23. No, it's pretty much giving him all access or none at all. If the FTP account didn't work out though, I'm sure you could find a simple script that would give him a way to upload files via the browser.
  24. Yeah it's under 6 or 7 seconds for me, and I'm on dial up. You might check with your DSL provider to make sure they aren't working on anything as well.
  25. When you open up your website, it’s your "index.html" that loads right? Ever thought it would be nice if somebody went to yoursite.com that they’d go to “under_construction.html” instead? It can be done by editing your .htaccess file. Here’s what you have to do. Add this to your .htaccess file: >DirectoryIndex under_construction.html This will treat "under_construction.html" as your default page instead of your "index.html" file.
