  1. The problem is with the MX set up of the server with the domain sending to your. I ran a test on that domain and got the following: Our servers will not accept mail from an address if the MX is set to an IP address.
  2. You would need to go to our Domain Registration page and log into your domain management using the username and password you created when you signed up for the domain or transferred it to us. Once the changes are made it will take 24 to 72 hours for the changes to propagate.
  3. Click on the link at the top of this page that says Help Desk (next to the links to the Forum Guidelines and Server Status.) Fill in the information that is requested there and someone will correct the problem.
  4. To access your CPanel you would go to http://******/cpanel. Please note that some businesses do block access to port 2082 which would prevent access to the CPanel.
  5. I know when I worked at CC we would call the competitor to see if they had it in stock before price matching. Once caller ID became available they would not answer our calls.
  6. Depending on the port it may be blocked. You will need to submit a Help Desk ticket using the link at the top of this page and include information on the script and the port that it uses so that one of the admins can look at unblocking the port.
  7. The information from the bounced message body is meaningless. It just means that a message with your email address in the From or Reply-To field tried to be delivered and was rejected on the remote server. You would need to look at the headers for the original message to see if it came from your Yahoo account or another server. I would bet that it originated from another server based on the hundreds of similar messages I have looked at.
  8. Just because an email says that it came from your Yahoo account does not mean that your account was hacked. It is easy enough for someone to spoof your email address. Many viruses now will pull an address from the address book of the infected machine and use it in the From and Reply-To fields so it looks like it came from someone else. This happens with all email accounts whether Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, or your TCH account. We get many Help Desk tickets from folks concerned that someone has hacked their email account. In every case that I can remember it was a spoofed address and looking at the headers of the message showed it came from a non-TCH server.
  9. Generally you should use localhost for the database server in your scripts.
  10. Please submit a Help Desk ticket by clicking on the link at the top of this page. We can delete the failed order so that you can place it again. You should use the information on the credit card to place the order. If the information does not match it will not go through.
  11. The Help Desk is working, I have been on in the past few hours and other techs have been there all day. I would suggest trying to open a new ticket to Billing and request a link to open a new billing account. Once that is set up we can cancel the old billing. You might try using a different browser to see if there is some problem in your browser settings causing a problem with accessing the Help Desk.
  12. You are correct that the Semi-Dedicated plan is on a shared server. The other statements you made are also correct.
  13. The error message is showing that there is an error in your configuration file pointing to the path of the installation files. If you look at this line: /path/to/mambo/install/includes/version.php You should find the configuration setting and change the /path/to/mambo/ to something like /home/cpanelusername/public_html/mambo/ or something similar. I am not familiar with mambo so I cannot provide a specific path.
  14. You can place the files anywhere in your site. If you are using the shared ssl you would call the pages using https://server81.totalchoicehosting.com/~username/page.html using your CPanel username and the name of the page you are calling. You can also add a /directory/page.html to place in another directory.
  15. Andy answered the ticket several hours ago. I logged into your main account with no problems as well. Andy requested the username and password for the account that was not working. Please open another ticket including that information so we can look and if you have an email account not based on your domain name use that email so that if there is a problem with your account here you will receive the replies.
  16. No, the domain management only affects the information on the domain. To change information on the hosting account please open a Help Desk ticket using the link at the top of this page and address it to the Billing department. Someone there can help you with what needs to be done to change your billing information.
  17. You can go to this link to log into your domain management and change registration infomation. You would need to use the username and password you created when you registered or transferred the domain and not your CPanel log in.
  18. It is important to note that PayPal can take a few days for payment to clear depending on the method of payment. Accounts are set up after payment has cleared.
  19. AWStats is incorporated in the CPanel install so it will not be upgraded until it is included in CPanel's stable release that we use. We really don't have a timetable on when this might occur.
  20. The ~username is only necessary when using the IP address (which is a shared IP) before the domain has propagated. Once the domain has propagated the format will be http://******/nycpics/ for that directory. You also could set up a subdomain so it could be reached at http://nycpics.****** after the domain has propagated.
  21. Harold Ramis & Jody Foster (Stealing Home)
  22. Be sure that you have created a database and user in CPanel under Manage MySQL and have added theuser to the database. If you continue to have problems send me a PM with your domain name and server #.
  23. You can access the server stats using the following format for your url: http://server##.totalchoicehosting.com/serverDetails/ where the ## is your server number.
  24. If you are continuing to have a problem you should send in a Help Desk ticket using the link at the top of this page. I checked and found that port 26 was not enabled on a server. Please try it again using port 26 in Outlook and see if it works now.
  25. You haven't provided much information that would help in troubleshooting the problem. If you look in the Error Log in your CPanel there may be some messages there that can help. Also, if you can provide a url to the page so we can see where the error is occurring we might be able to see more.
