All accounts will be updated as soon as the new version of Horde is stable in CPanel. CPanel updates are checked regularly but we cannot say at this time when version 3 will be included.

The message just means that you have used more bandwidth than your plan allows. I'm not sure if they have a daily limit or a monthly limit. You will need to contact your host to determine the problem. As for transferring the domain here, you should check with them as well and be sure they will either allow changing the nameservers or transferring the domain registration. In doing a Whois Search it looks like the Administrative contact is the hosting company.

We believe we have found the problem with the delays and have made some changes. It is not unusual for a message to be delayed at times but it should not be regular. The mail queue on the server was pretty big and we had to go through it to force delivery of some messages and clear out messages that were undeliverable (due to fake addresses, etc.)

What email address are you using? If you are having email problems with your domain account you should submit a ticket using an email address not tied to your account. Email is working on the server. Please try submitting a ticket using a different email address. If you are unable to get that to work send me a Private Message with the details and I will look into it.

OK. It should be fixed now. You didn't mention that it was a parked domain. There was a problem with the parking of the domain. Sometimes the old IP is picked up if the domain is parked before the DNS has been changed. I have reparked it and it is resolving correctly in a dns check. It will need some time for the changes to propagate.

I just sent you a PM. If you have AIM or Yahoo please IM tchgururick. I am only going to be around a few more minutes tonight and would like to check something.

Something doesn't look right. Please submit a Help Desk ticket so we will have the information to check the DNS Zone here.

There was a problem with the mt.cfg file. Some of the commented lines were uncommented. Please try it now.

Full Path To Script Installation?
TCH-Rick replied to webgyrl's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
The part after /home/ should be your CPanel username. indiemanagers is not your username, it is too long. -
It is the same for us at the High School I teach at. We have had a big problem with computers becoming unusable because of all the spyware and junk cluttering the computers. This is especially true of the computers running XP. This past week I restored one computer in our Math Lab using the restore disk (Windows 98 SE). I then downloaded the security patches and installed the software we use on it. We then made an image disk and used it to reimage the other 24 computers. When we get into our new school next year the network will be set up so that we can reimage a computer over the network easily. At least that is what we are being told.

All accounts have been updated to the new limits. If your account is not showing the correct disk space/bandwidth please open a Help Desk ticket by using the link at the top of this page and we can have a look.

Everything seems to work fine. I have run the online updates to get new packages. I've used it almost exclusively since getting the wireless card to run. I still can't get past one of the Bonus levels on Super Tux.

The options for the add on scripts in CPanel had not been added to the server. The account is on a new server. I also added the "Welcome to uk1" message to the CPanel.

Changes to the DNS Zone must be made through the Help Desk. Just click on the link at the top of this page and provide a description of what you need done. Someone there will make the changes.

In linux the filenames and folder names are case sensitive. Without the domain name we cannot say for sure but I am guessing that the filename used is something like Index.html. If you rename it index.html to use all lowercase it should work fine.

Without being able to see the headers of the emails and the settings on the individual computers there is little we can do here but make guesses. It would not be wise to post that information here. If this were a problem with an account we host we would have referred you to the Help Desk where private information can be provided. In this case, you will need to contact Tech Support at AOL and/or Earthlink and allow them to have a look as they would have access to the information needed. I am closing this thread.

I downloaded the SuSe 9.2 DVD iso from one of the mirrors and installed it on my laptop. It installed with no problem and runs great. The only problem I ran into was getting my wireless network card to work. After a little trial and error I was able to get it working as well.

You should contact the Help Desk using the link above and enter unknown for any information you do not know. Someone from Billing will need to address the problem.

Sometimes the logging service in CPanel stalls. Please submit a Help Desk ticket by clicking on the link at the top of this page and someone on the Help Desk can look and see what the problem is.

Perl Script Was Working, Sever Hd Crashed, Now...
TCH-Rick replied to mediamelt's topic in Scripting Talk
I was going to say that the problem was the permissions as permissions on perl scripts should be 755 and not 755. The permissions are correct, however. I have added XML::RSS to the server as it had been added previously. The script needs that module and it is not installed by default. The file can also be added to your MT includes which will prevent problems should the account be moved to another server (or as in this case Perl is rebuilt.) -
The permissions were wrong for the mt-load.cgi file. All perl files should be set to 755. I have corrected that and the file is loading. Please delete the file now and you should be able to log in. IM me at tchgururick if you have any problems.

We all appreciate the 'Thank You' comments. While we sometimes will respond, most often we will read the message, close it, and get back to work. There are some cases where an especially nice comment is made where we will post in in our Staff area so that all can see it.

Next time don't be afraid to drop a Help Desk ticket. I did take a minute to look at a backup of the site and there was 68 megs of messages in the Spam Box of the main admin e-mail account.
