Anyone Know This Range Of Ip Addresses?
youneverknow replied to FireRandySanders's topic in Open Discussion
I found this on google here is the answer: " >Is there a way to quickly and easily resolve the TLDs for Latin American >countries (i.e. .mx, .ar, .ve) into unique ranges of IP numbers? No, not really. That's very difficult. There are a huge number of subdomains under each top-level domain, each one possibly corresponding to one or more different network numbers, none of whom necessarily have anything to do with each other. >The reason I ask is that my server offers me the ability to redirect >browsers based on IP number. I'd like to use this feature to redirect all >clients from Latin American countries to our Spanish-language pages. That would certainly be nice. Is there an option to redirect browsers on the basis of the domain name the browser's IP address maps back to? If there was, you could redirect *.mx, *.ve, etc., to the Spanish language site. >I assume that foreign countries have been assigned a range of IP numbers >(in the same way that the "146" that begins my computer's IP number >identifies me as being at UT-Austin in the United States.) Is there a way >to get the ranges for countries like Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela, etc. >without looking up every IP number individually? Actually, network numbers aren't really assigned that way. The "146" in your computer's IP address is only one of two numbers that identify which network number--and consequently which organization--the computer is on. Network numbers are assigned individually to organizations, without any indication of the country the network is in. I have a question...are the gmail servers backed up reguarly? Can I trust them not to lose my mail? Also to let you folks know...there is a program called gmail notifier that will check your mail every 2 minutes and alert you in your system tray (sorry it only works on windows) you can find it here: http://toolbar.google.com/gmail-helper/

Microsoft has opened their doors for ordering the SP2 on CD. For all folks out there without a high speed internet connection or folks who reload windows regularlly this would seem the way to go. Here is the link to the ordering site: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloa...us/default.mspx youneverknow They say to allow 4-6 weeks for delivery

If you have a picture that is dark I go to effects and up the gamma to as high as 1.67 and increase the contrast to 23 and that seems to really help those darkish photos

Personalaby I would wait a couple of weeks at least before downloading it. If you have installed the latest patches and such you should be ok. I have heard that already there are patches for the sp2 ready to come out so if you are current on your updates...wait a little bit just my opinion youneverknow

I would be very careful if you install versions of IE below version 6. Those IE's would be very open to hackers, worms, trojans. Sorry, not sure about Safari. You can get old browsers here; http://www.oldversion.com/ youneverknow

I had a similar problem with FP extentions and I was told to submit a help desk ticket. They were somehow able to 'fix' the extentions that I could not do through cpanel.. click the help desk in the forum banner and most likely that will take care of it. youneverknow

It always amazes me how for $4 US per month you can get so much!!! I too had the hosting woes and have been a TCH customer since Sept '03. Yes the support is EXCELLENT and these forums are awesome for answering questions and general info too. I wish I had found TCH before spending those hundreds of dollars on crappy hosting. I'll just add that the owner of TCH REALLY cares about this company and it definitely shows. WELCOME Iki to the TCH family Thumbs Up youneverknow -

Most modern day proccesors and mother boards support temperature and fan monitoring. (also voltage monitoring) If parameters fall above or below the settings you set they can set off alarms, shut down the system and even email you of the problems. Here is a screen shot of Motherboard monitor 5: youneverknow

DA: If you created their accounts in the control panel, all they have to do is enter your web address followed by "/webmail" Example: yourwebsite.com/webmail then they will need to pick which web email to use 1. Horde mail (lots of features) 2. Squirrel Mail (real simple to use not many features) 3. NeoMail (Sort of in between the two above) Hope this helps... youneverknow
