Bruce...I think the talk around here is that MS is going to offer the combination spyware and an anti virus program as a suite. Yes they plan on charging for the updates like Symantec and other do. But for now this is free....I don't know how often the definition base will be updated or when and if this beta will stop working. youneverknow

Microsoft has offered its Beta Anti-Spyware for free at this link... http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&DisplayLang=en This is not really a new MS product but one they purchased from Giant Software. It found a couple that AdAware and Spybot did not detect...all in all a nice program IMHO youneverknow

If Duke does not know anything about transfering his site I would recommend that he hire outside help. Maybe you could run and ad on Craig's List or call a community college and see if there is someone there that could help you. Just my 2 cents. youneverknow

An Easy Way To Delete All Of My Web Site Material?

I find ftp clients are fast also in deleteing -
Just my 2 cents...It looks as if Thomas went to a lot of work to "Flood" the forum with information that I feel should be elsewhere. A Forum is just that...not a place to list all 90+ server updates each week. I know there are a lot of folks here that want stats to look at but why not provide a link once a week to a "Status Page"? Very Professional looking site! I give it two thumbs up. One small problem...In the grinding mill area there is no photo for the Clove Grinder’s Mill. Everything else I checked looked splendid...Best of luck on your venture. youneverknow -

How many other Web Hosting Companies out there are offering a free dinner to their customers....my guess is NONE. Bill not only treats his customer's to a good hosting experience but is generous enough to make such an offer. I don't often wear a hat but I take it off to you. I hope all that attend have a great time and meet a lot of new people. A great big THANK YOU for being here on the internet and offering a great service at resonnalble pricing. Youneverknow Rock Sign

Think of all the web sites out there that have their webmasters no longer running the sites. I know of a few that I set up and they have no idea at all on how to make changes to their sites. I designed their sites and have not heard from them for over 2 years. Maybe they lost my phone number or email address. Youneverknow

Well I wonder if Microsoft will change their minds? They announced recently that Hotmail accounts would not be available in the future for Outlook and Outlook Express users. Wow! Here is a quote from the article's link that seems to sum it up.... "This is a major threat, for the following reasons: First – the users have no way of protecting themselves. Second – it's quite easy to carry out, and third – it allows identity theft, which is nothing less than a serious danger to the victim". "On the bright side", he adds, "its a good thing that this hole was found now, before the service was officially announced and offered to millions of users world-wide. I reckon it's just a matter of time before an automatic tool is made, which would allow even the less computer-savvy people to exploit this hack. The damage, needless to say, could be huge" Is there a way, after all, to protect ourselves in the face of this danger? Elzam does not bear good news on the matter. "The only immediate solution that comes to mind is not using Gmail to store any messages or files that might be maliciously used. At least until Google attends to this problem" Thanks for the info... youneverknow
