Hi, I use phpBB and found this originally too. What I suggest you do, is to clear out the folder, and delete the database. Then download the current edition from phpBB and upload it. If you dont feel confident about doing this, please PM me and I shall do it for you. (sub note, not available fri, sat, sun) Jim

Hi, In short, all domains must point to the root domain, they can not point to subdomains. That would be againest Total choice web hosting terms and conditions. The cheapest web hosting package we do should suffice your needs, just go without a pint a month! Jim

Hi, Actually the EasyJet promotion 2 weekends ago was the best I ever seen. I would say what it was, but it was rather sexist. Jim

Hi, Still a bit groping around in the dark on exactley what you want. Its the bit which goes "when clicked added the poem with a link to a page accessible from the homepage" Could you explain this cos I am having a dumb moment! Even better, give a url to a page which does the same thing? Jim

Hi, For what your proposing, if you brought a regular account, you would be breaking regs as each mini site would be different ot the main site. What you need is a reseller account package. You can have several parked domains on your account, but they must all point to the route. Sub domain names are like: http://subdomain.domainname.com or http://www.domainname.com/subdomain If you want each domain name to have its only email address you will either need a seperate hosting for each or the resellers package. Jim

Hi, If you could start a help ticket, the first part can be worked out. Public_html does not exist in the domain name sense. Kinda hard to explain really but do not worry. Start the help ticket and we shall sort you out! Jim

Hi, Not sure you have a normal index web page and a wap page residing in the same folder. Try here for an example of WAP http://www.devshed.com/Server_Side/PHP/PHP_WAP Jim

Hi, If your clock keeps time, then I would not worry about the battery although replacing it wont cause any major upsets. Quick thought. Have you got a second cheap hard drive? If you have, bung a simple operating system on it and replace the hard drive. Does it lock up still? This should narrow the field down quite a lot for us Its the only reason I keep my 3 gig drive around now. Jim
