Domain Transfers And 2nd Rate Servers?
TCH-JimE replied to Digirunt's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Hi, Having had a quick look at one and one web site, and the Schlund+Partner website, one and one are acting as a resellers for them. Back to one and one I guess! Jim -
Karl, I have tested this with yours and turtles guestbook, I am unable to recreate the same fault. The only fault I do get, is if I use the drop down menu to select a page so records 30-40 yet there is 44 records, I can't see any records from 41-44. However this is the same for all guestbooks, not just yours. Jim

Hi, This sounds more like IE 6.0 then anything else. I have been having huge problems recently where IE 6.0 crashes, fails to open, fails to proceed to the next page and so forth. I know a few other people have had problems too with IE 6. The fact you can Fast reply, but not actually "add reply" would most definitely point the finger at your IE6 and the workings of Windows on your machine. Jim

Domain Transfers And 2nd Rate Servers?
TCH-JimE replied to Digirunt's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Hi, Having had a check through the DNS entry for the domain name, they are still pointing to the old domain name servers. You have two choices with your domain name: 1) Park it on your current domain name. You will need to get your company to change the nameservers to point to ours, and start a help ticket so that we can change your DNS zone for this. 2) Get the company to just do a simple re-direct. Whatever happens, at current ( 10/07/03) they are not pointing at our nameservers Cheers Jim -
Domain Transfers And 2nd Rate Servers?
TCH-JimE replied to Digirunt's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Hi, No nothing needs to be done, although if you want the domain parked, you must start a help ticket so that we can add it to your DNS zone. Or you can make a redirect in the control panel of your domain name. Jim -
Karl, What browser and OS are you running? Jim

Hi, I would think this is a cache problem with either your computer or your ISP. Distance makes no difference. Make sure on your browser that you check automatically for new pages every time you browse Jim

Hi, Glad it's fixed Jim

Another Case Of The 1016 Sql Error

Hi, Submitting a help ticket is always the best solution. Jim -
Hi, None of the stats we offer supply that kind of information, however, http://www.nedstatbasic.net do offer a free one which records screen depth and colours. Javascript info is hard to gather as some users have it turned off. Jim

Hi, Server 10 is under another DOS attack, which causes the network to become slow. Please bear with us whilst we sort this out Thanks Jim
