If you are not on a reseller server you would just use https://server##.totalchoicehosting.com/~us...e/filename.html to access the secure page replacing the ## with your server number and username with your CPanel username. Our SSL Help Page gives more information.
  2. Arghhhh! I remember when we had a lot more smilies, so many, in fact, that they took up over half the screen in the edit mode. Anyone else remember the huge smilie in a plane?
  3. Free Pizza Fridays!
  4. Sounds like you have it set to use SSL on password Authentication. You should change the setting in the Sending Mail from If available, STARTTLS to Never.
  5. I'm sorry, but I have Earthlink and they do block port 25 to external mail servers. They allow port 25 to their own SMTP server. I had the exact same problem using my Earthlink account on vacation. I changed Outlook to use port 26 and had no problems sending. I downloaded Eudora and could not find a place to change the port setting. If you feel there is a problem with the account please open a Help Desk ticket and we can look at it.
  6. What ISP are you using while on the road? Many block using port 25 which means you can receive but not send. NetZero and Juno both block port 25 as does Earthlink. You should set up the SMTP to use port 26 rather than 25 and see if that will solve the problem.
  7. I sent a Private Message asking for information to help resolve your problem but have received no response. We're willing to help but we do need some information to work with.
  8. I can guarantee that the emails have been answered. I am not sure why you did not receive a reply. That is why I recommend using the Help Desk at https://ssl.totalchoicehosting.com/supportdesk rather than emailling since you can reopen the ticket to check on progress and ask us what is happening. If you will open a Help Desk ticket and describe the problem I will check on it.
  9. There are two steps you need to take to get additional domains to point to the same site on our servers. First, you should set the nameservers of all the domains to ns1.totalchoicehosting.com and ns2.totalchoicehosting.com with the registrar(s) of the domains. Second, you should go to the Help Desk and submit a request to have the additional domains parked on the existing domain. Include your CPanel log in information. We will take care of setting them up. It takes 24 to 72 hours after your have changed the nameservers for the sites to resolve to our server.
  10. You might also want him to open port 2083 so that you can access Cpanel using SSL. Just use https://domain.com:2083 to access the CPanel.
  11. Yes, it is possible. CSB's publish feature uses ftp to publish. There are several users on our forums that are CSB users as well.
  12. SquirrelMail does block "unsafe images" by default and the version we are running does not have an option for changing this. You can view the images by downloading the email using an email client that will show html.
  13. You should have the following path in the mt.cfg: CGIPath http://69.50.193.76/~username/mt/ You have to include the ~username (replacing it with your Cpanel username) in order to get the path to work correctly. Also, once your domain is resolving to the server you should change this to use the domain name, i.e. http://******/mt, rather than the IP address. It is much easier to get scripts to work once the domain is resolving correctly.
  14. Be sure and check the filenames in the code and on the disk as well. In Linux filenames and directory names are case sensitive. That means if you name something mypic.jpg on the disk and have it as MYPIC.JPG in the code it will not work.
  15. There is a Javascript to Access Horde Web Mail on our Help Pages that will allow you to access the WebMail using just the user name. It can be adapted to use any of the three webmail applications.
  16. Before making a new Guestbook try going into PhpMyAdmin and find your username and delete the password. Then you should be able to log in with just the username and no password. Once in your Admin screen you can set a new password. Just enter the new password into both boxes and click Submit.

  18. All you need to do is set up the address in the Forwarder section of CPanel. Don't create an account with that address in CPanel under Manage Accounts.
  19. Arvind, when did you create the subdomain? CPanel does not add entries to allow sub.domain.com and www.sub.domain.com to work. This has been added in a recent release so if the subdomain was created a few months ago only sub.domain.com will work. You should try removing the subdomain and recreating it and it should work with or without the www in front.
  20. Yep. That's the right place. That one little detail helps us quite a bit. Without it we have to look up your domain. Doesn't take long but is one more step.
  21. It's done. No problem asking for those types of things. We will get it when we get the chance and it only takes a second. It helps when you give the exact path and filename (which you did) so that we don't have to go searching. It also helps when you give the server number. Those are the types of details that will result in quick replies.
  22. In looking at a whois record on your domain the nameservers are not set correctly with GoDaddy. You should log into your domain management with GoDaddy and change the nameservers to ns1.totalchoicehosting.com and ns2.totalchoicehosting.com. Propagation should take 24-72 hours once the changes are made.
  23. We do not support SFTP. You can use File Manager securely by logging into CPanel using https://domain.com/cpanel.
  24. 1) The Annual fee is for the purchase of the Certificate and is only good for the year. The set-up fee is to pay for proper set-up of the certificate on the server and moving to a dedicated IP. You can purchase the certificate elsewhere if you wish but would still need to pay the $35 for set-up. The major benefits of having a dedicated certificate is that it is accessed using your domain name and not server##.totalchoicehosting.com. It is also simpler to get your code working correctly with the dedicated certificate. 2) Yes, you can have as many domains as you wish on your reseller account within package limits. Each account would have their own CPanel and controls. 3) I didn't see any posts from your other account and cannot speak to that issue. I can say that we don't respond well to rudeness and "Give me my refund and don't give me any excuses. " is not the best way to close a message.
  25. SquirrelMail is a third party application and it does not seem to support what you are wanting. I checked under Options and it has an option to play a .wav file or pop up a new window on arrival of new mail and includes options for checking boxes other than the Inbox but it did not put a number beside the folder like on the Inbox. I have not had the chance to test Horde to see if it will work. I use Outlook to download my email and it does mark new messages regardless of the folder.
