There is a problem with the CPanel on the server and we are working to get it resolved.

How are you checking the email? Are you using a program like Outlook or Webmail? If you are using Webmail, which application are you using?

Just don't forget to check that accoutn regularly and delete the unwanted messages. Also, if you discover at some point that all the mail in that account is spam/junk then you can set the default address to :blackhole: (being sure to include the colons) and it will simply delete all unrouted mail straight away.

Please submit a Help Desk ticket so we can sort through it. The different DNS serials need to be fixed. What is probably happening is thaht the subdomains are not being updated to the secondary DNS and you are reading from there rather than the primary. We can fix that from the Help Desk.

The httpd.conf file is a system file and is not accessible by users. Many configuration settings can be made in an .htaccess file in your directories.

There are likely some permissions messed up on your main directory. Put in a Help Desk ticket (click on the link at the top of this page) and someone can sort it out for you.

Yes, you can organize your graphics however you like. It is just a matter of coding the page so that the graphics are called correctly from whatever folders you use.

We will not install cgi::irc and will not allow it to be used on the server. Their own description tells why we do not allow this on a shared server:

You have a redirect in your public_html file that redirects /index.html to http://www.coachdana.com/index.php. That causes any index.html call to be sent to the main directory regardless of which subdomain or subdirectory it is in.

Stats will not work until the domain name has propagated. While you are using the IP address the stats will not update.

Yes, that would be against our AUP. Your buddy should purchase his own account for his domain.

Your nameservers are still not set to ns1.totalchoicehosting.com and ns2.totalchoicehosting.com so you will not be able to access the CPanel using the domain name yet. You should be able to log in using the IP address as described in the welcome email. If you are talking about the stats in CPanel not recording anything, they will not work correctly until the domain has propagated.

Nothing has changed but with the IP address changing there could be a problem with propagation. Try using the domain name without mail. in front. If it still is not working open a help desk ticket at https://ssl.totalchoicehosting.com/supportdesk and we can look closer.

Sorry about that. We found some problems with IP addresses on that box and apparently broke the site that was working.

There is a wysiwyg editor in the File Manager in Cpanel. I have not played with it much so I really can't say much about it. Just create a new file and then you will have the option in the menu on the right. It only works with IE 6.

That would be much better. Generally the longer between runs the better in a shared hosting environment.
