  1. These types of issues should be addressed to the Help Desk using the link at the top of this page. The latest server did not have the scripts enabled. I have added them to the server. If they are not in your CPanel open a Help Desk ticket and we can have a look.
  2. It is not possible to change the username on a reseller account without completely deleting the account and recreating it.
  3. If you have your email set up to send using mail.earthlink.net then any problems sending mail should be addressed to technical support with them and not Sprint or us.
  4. This forum is not intended to provide support for technical issues. You should submit a Help Desk ticket using the link at the top of this page. Provide all the information requested and details such as the email account username and password so that we can test.
  5. I would imagine that they are pretty swamped with emails right now with requests. I looked at their page on what to do to have the domain transferred into your name and saw no real indication that they would reply back. They may well just change the contact information on the domain so that it is in your control so that you can transfer it, etc. If you will provide your domain name we can look to see more on who the registration is with.
  6. Yes, IMAP is supported on all accounts.
  7. You will receive the IP address to use for your account when you receive your Welcome Email.
  8. If you will open a Help Desk ticket using the link at the top of this page and provide the IP address, CPanel username, and password for the old account we can attempt a CPanel transfer. It is also possible to restore the account from the server if you download a full backup from the old host and upload it to your root directory here. Then open a Help Desk ticket and we can restore from the server.
  9. I don't do a lot with perl either but I believe that you basically have to tell perl to send the output to an html header that can be seen in a browser rather than sent to the command line. The script I copied is one I found somewhere that is useful when we get tickets claiming that perl is "not working". If I run the original script from the command line it will work fine but trying to run it from a browser returns the error since the output is trying to go to the command line which is not allowed.
  10. The permissions on the file and the folder should be set to 755 for perl scripts. They cannot be set to 777 or you will get the error given. The script you pasted will work fine in a shell but will not run through a browser. Here is a simple script that should run through a browser.
  11. The site on 38 is danceswithscissors.com and the one in your sig is on 66.
  12. I am seeing your site fine so there may be a problem with the routing from your ISP. You are on server 38.
  13. You really need to deal with this issue through technical support at the domain registration page rather than through the forums. There is nothing that can be done here to help in this situation.
  14. There is actually no need to have the Welcome Email resent if you have it. All the information will remain the same except for your domain name.
  15. To change the domain associated with an account you would need to register the domain, set the nameservers to ns1.totalchoicehosting.com and ns2.totalchoicehosting.com, and then open a Help Desk ticket requesting that the domain be changed.
  16. The registrar is the company you used to register the domain. You can change the nameservers for the domain with them to ns1.totalchoicehosting.com and ns2.totalchoicehosting.com so that the domain will point here. Please provide your domain name and we can check further.
  17. There is no particular advantage if you are happy with your current registrar. There is also no advantage to waiting until it is time to renew the domain to transfer it as you will receive an additional year of registration when you request the transfer. I generally suggest purchasing the hosting account first and then changing the nameservers with the current registrar. Once the domain has propagated you can then request the registration transfer.
  18. If you will send me a Private Message using the PM button below with your domain name I will check on the ticket. I saw one on the Help Desk that I suspect is yours but need more details than it provided to know exactly what might be happening. In particular, I would need to see a copy of the email you received when you registered the domain. If the problem is in the registration that does need to be handled by the registration department and not the Help Desk as we do not have access to that information.
  19. You have 225 megs of messages in your main inbox for the account. If you would like to have us clear the inbox open a Help Desk ticket using the link at the top of this page. You can also clear it using Horde webmail using the Folders option to clear the folder. The disk space for your account includes all disk space used including the webspace, email, MySQL databases, and statistics.
  20. On question 2, it looks like you have an error somewhere in your MT config for that blog in the folder options for the archives. The code is calling for the files in http://www.siliconvalleywatcher.com/nophun/archives/fishing/index.php but the files are actually stored in http://www.siliconvalleywatcher.com/mt/nophun/archives/fishing/index.php. Notice that the archives are within the mt and not the nophun folder in public_html.
  21. If you are getting a "Coming Soon" message it can mean that the nameservers are set to the parked servers rather than ns1.totalchoicehosting.com and ns2.totalchoicehosting.com. If you will provide your domain name we can see what the Whois record says and check the nameservers.
  22. There is no charge for changing the domain name. I just changed one from the Help Desk so check your email to see if you have mail.
  23. Please contact the Help Desk at the link at the top of this page and provide the new domain name. We will change it there.
  24. We do have persons who speak Spanish. I lived in Latin America for a number of years. The forums, however, are public and designed to help all users so the policy is that posts should be in English. For help in Spanish you would need to send a PM, use IM, or submit a Help Desk ticket. It is important to note that in these cases it may take longer for a response to your request as there are not as many persons that are able to respond.
  25. I'm not sure how many emails would bounce for them. Proper MX format is to have a host name and not an IP. We have our mail servers set up to bounce any messages that have a faulty MX record, some places allow it (but since many spammers use these types of MX records it makes that problem even worse) and some mail servers are set up to just delete any messages with faulty MX records. It would be best for them to contact their technical support and have them check it for themselves using http://www.dnsreport.com/ so that it can be corrected. The problem is rare but I see it pretty regularly so it is one of the first things I check when there is a problem with a single email address bouncing.
