  1. IM me if you have AIM or Yahoo and I will look at it in a bit.
  2. The setting should be :fail: (with colons at the beginning and end) and not just fail.
  3. The calendar folder had permissions set to 775. It should be set to 755 to use for perl scripts. I changed the permissions and it is working fine.
  4. No, you would just rename the folder to mt.
  5. The most likely problem is the page is either cached in the browser or the ISP is serving a cached page. You can set the browser default to check for a new page every time it is loaded. In IE this is under the Internet Options/General/Temporary Internet Files Settings.

I've been running Suse 9.2 for a couple of months now and it works great. They also have a Live CD/Live DVD version that will run from the CD so you can play with it.
  7. The easiest way is to log into Horde webmail. Select Mail and then choose the Folder options at the top. There is an option to clear folders. If the account is close to its disk quota you may have problems. In this case open a Help Desk ticket using the link above and ask to have the admin inbox cleared and we can clear it from the server.
  8. The word 'here' where it says 'Please update your contact information here.' is a link. Click on it and you will be able to set the contact address.
  9. You can see the modules that are loaded on your server by going to http://server##.totalchoicehosting.com/phpInfo.php (replacing ## with your server number.) The section under Apache will list the modules that are installed.
  10. The Coppermine installation is not enabled by default. It can be enabled on a particular server through a Help Desk ticket. Cpanel added the option a few months ago and it was enabled on a couple of servers just to test. I still would suggest installing it manually. There are ocassionally problems with the CPanel installations and the version is generally not the latest version.
  11. The information is stored in a MySQL database for Horde. To make backups of the information there is an option to export the addressbook data from Horde itself.
  12. Make sure that you have added the user to the database in your CPanel under the MySQL options. There is a drop down menu to add the user to the database.
  13. The only ticket I saw on the Help Desk did not mention that the old site used CPanel. If you would like for us to attempt to transfer the whole account over please open a new Help Desk ticket and provide the IP address of the old host and the CPanel username and password. We can attempt to copy the account through CPanel which would include all the code, the database, and email accounts. If the old host does not block the access it should work fine.
  14. There was an extra line in the scodetest script that I removed and it should run fine now.
  15. Please submit a Help Desk ticket using the link at the top of this page. For the requested fields just put 'unknown' if you are not sure of the answer. In the ticket, include your zip code, phone number, and last four digits of the credit card used to order as a security measure.
  16. They open the playoffs against our local Greenville Growl tonight and play here Saturday night.
  17. If you are hosted by a reseller you would need to contact the reseller to determine his or her policies. Reseller accounts do have access to add-on domains and can create accounts that use add-on domains if they wish. You would also need to contact them concerning parked domains. Any Help Desk requests should come from the reseller.
  18. Yes, you can create both an account and a forwarder using the same username. It will send a copy to the account specified in the forwarder and deliver the message in the account on the server as well. If you just want an email forwarded you would not set up an account on the server, just create the forwarder.
  19. Sorry for the confusion. I've editted my post to make it a little clearer. I was answering too quickly before I had to run to a meeting before. Also note that you would need to change the permissions on the .conf file to 444 so that it will not be overwritten when the stats run with a default config file.
  20. If the script uses excessive resources and causes the server to crash then the account would be suspended and the owner notified. We have had AWStats set up in the past to display the IP only but then we received many requests for showing the hosts. You can edit the AWStats config file for your domain in the /tmp/awstats folder of your account to turn off the RDNS lookup.
  21. Looks like we need to edit that page. There is no need to submit a Help Desk ticket to have the shared SSL activated. It is available on non-reseller servers by using the format that GroovyFish copied at the end of the last post.
  22. Aliases are your email forwarders and Filters are any email filters you have added.
  23. There are some additional scripts available for installation through CPanel and a few servers have had them available. We have handled it much the same as we did when PhpNuke and Invision were added as options for add-on scripts where the option was enabled on request. We have not enabled the scripts on all servers because we have not had the chance to insure that they work correctly. It is important to note that the scripts included in the Add-on scripts are still third party scripts and we do not provide support for them through the Help Desk. A couple of the autoinstallation modules have also proven to have problems. My personal opinion is that it is worth taking a little more time to install scripts manually. Users here are willing to help with problems. When the auto-installs work correctly they are certainly easy. When they fail they can really cause problems that can be very difficult to correct.
  24. I would suggest using your domain name without mail. in front as the pop3 and smtp hosts.
  25. Please open a Help Desk ticket using the link at the top of this page and we can check on the Add-on scripts. There are some problems with the CPanel installs of PhpBB and PostNuke right now. OSCommerce should not be a problem to add.
