Both AIM and Yahoo IDs are tchgururick.

The system uses the email address you enter to determine if there is already an account set up. If you use a different email address it will allow you to purchase the plan as a new customer.

The most likely problem is having the line in your mt.cfg file commented out. We would need a domain name to be able to check further.

For a database the size you mention it would be best to upload the file to your root directory of your site and submit a Help Desk ticket asking to have the data imported into an empty database you have created. We can then import the data on the server when loads are low and prevent any problems.

I removed the URL in your last post to prevent anyone from clicking on it. If you have AIM or Yahoo IM give me a shout. There were some problems in your mt.cfg file and it looks like no user has been assigned to the database. I did rename the folder as well to make things a little neater and so it matches the instructions on the Help Pages.

From looking at the docs on installation it appears that the program requires a daemon to be started that would run on the server. This would not be possible on a shared server.

The system will not automatically queue the messages. For a list of over 50 or so people I would recommend using a different script that allows batch send. The thread mentioned by bellringr has more information on DadaMail which does allow batch send.

The IP address needs to be added to the DNS Zone for the domain. Whoever is handling the DNS should know what to do with the IP. That way calls to the domain will be directed to our server. Since the domain is set up on the server it will be able to find the site.

He should add the IP address in the DNS Zone of the domain. Please note that some features, such as creating subdomains in CPanel, will not work. Any Help Desk tickets submitted should also mention that he is using external DNS so that we can avoid confusion.

I'm not sure what the requirements are for Phtostack but the situation you describe can be done with one account. I would suggest signing up for the account using the domain you want to be the main domain associated with the website. Once that site is created you would need to submit a Help Desk ticket asking to have the other two domains parked on the account. You would be able to create email accounts, forwarders, etc. on all three domains from your CPanel and all three domains would point to the same main page.

What is your domain? I agree with Bruce that it sounds like the mt.cfg file has the wrong address for the cgi files. Without more details it is difficult to know where the problem might be.

You should also check in the CPanel of the site and be sure that you have not exceeded the disk space for the plan you have. If you are still having problems, please submit a Help Desk ticket using the link at the top of this page and we can look at the account.

How do we do that? LOL Weezy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The warning sent at 80% is already set up in all accounts. You would just need to be sure that there is a contact address set up in CPanel. You can also set the contact addresses in your WHM for the accounts by clicking on the icon under the contact email column when you List Accounts.

Whether you can publish to the subdomains with one installation really depends on which version of MT you are installing if I understand the changes in their licensing. With older versions you could easily install the software in one place and then just specify the folders to put the files. That is more restrictive with the new versions. Dick is right in that DBD::SQLite is not needed unless SQLite is used on the server. The error message is normal. There are four storage modules that MT can use and only one of them is necessary.

No, you would just need to copy the files into the appropriate place in your extlib folder or whichever folder is set up in MT to be included.

It would be better to copy the files to the includes directory of your MT installation. That way if there is a server change (upgrade, etc) you will already have the modules installed and not have to have them reinstalled on the server.

It should never have been an option in the CPanel except on reseller accounts. The reason is that if a domain is parked incorrectly it can cause problems including causing the webserver to fail. All domains must be parked by a tech so that if there is a problem it can be corrected quickly.

As Lisa mentioned, all technical problems should be sent to the Help Desk using the link at the top of this page. Moving accounts to a new server is a hectic process and it is easy to miss a setting. I have adjusted the settings on the server and AWStats should be back in your CPanel.

You can change the SMTP port in Outlook under the Advanced options of the account. It is not that uncommon for ISPs to begin blocking port 25 without warning.

This needs to be handled through the Help Desk as it is a technical problem. Someone there will respond as soon as possible. You can reopen the ticket to see if there has been a response. I looked and the new domain is not showing as registered. If it was just registered it will take 24 to 72 hours to propagate and work with the site.

One thing to keep in mind is that if we park an additional domain on the account you can access the account using either domain. It does not really matter which is the "main" domain associated with the account. You can also create email addresses for both domains. There is a risk at changing the domain name of the account and then parking the old domain. It is rare, but I have seen problems develop with email accounts and databases. It is sometimes necessary to completely reprovision the account. That is especially true if the username is also changed.
