I've never used any of this kind of thing but I did find several interesting looking possibilities on a Google search.

Welcome Digital! It has to exist because places like ask.com have the site preview thumbnails and similar features are in other apps, but I did a search for it and couldn't find anything. Don't give up!

Well yeah, if you put enough JB! I prefer regular Coke for the full-blown variety, but Diet Pepsi for the diet type. They had a sale here recently, the fridge packs were 4 for $10.00 and if you got 4 they'd give you one free... 5 for $10! Yay! Too bad it's usually $3-$4 per pack, but it's a lot better than the beer prices! (The prices make me glad I don't drink or smoke - I'd need another mortgage just for that!)

Considering it's 2006 and the kid is 14 it's probably too late for the talk you're talking about. There are many many programs out there that will log everything done on a computer in the background and in secret. Mom should probably get one of those and check it from time to time to see what Junior's been doing. Have her go to a search like this Google search for some options... there's everything from blockers to loggers out there.

I tried that but the plastic handle melted and got all over the grill... boy did that stink!

Well, it's been a week so I went to Google to try to cheat and the only thing I could find is this post at TCH! Spill it Steve.

This package option offers unlimited add-ons for $19.99/month. It's a reseller account Bruce mentioned. FWIW, I came from a place 3 years ago that had add-ons for free. They offered unlimited. The service, speed, and other things was definitely limited though. At TCH they put reseller accounts on separate servers from the regular ones so they can keep better performance for us all. If you really want a $4/month acct with unlimited add-ons then you will have to go somewhere else. If you are willing to pay $20/month for a reseller account the this is the place to be. It's just like pizza - "Better ingredients, Better pizza, Papa John's" versus the $0.99 Publix brand pizza from the freezer section.

Good luck with any host that will give you unlimited virtual domains for under $4/month. As a customer I can say that you won't find a better host with more quality support and services than here, but I do wish you the best. When it doesn't work out keep TCH in mind... many in the past have come back to us after the "bargain guys" burned them.

Do you think the Bad Wolf maybe genetically engineered eggs? Chicken's great on the grill, but the eggs just drop through and make a mess.

It is to put so much non-spam words in there that the filters won't notice it. To us it looks like gibberish but to the filters it's a long discussion of something non-spammy our buddy is sending us. Another thing they are doing that the filters are trying to keep up with is sending the message as a graphic. Your email reader renders it but it has no words that can be filtered on. If only they'd put that much energy toward solving the world's problems! Edit: By the way, I'm p to 6713 spams in the past 30 days on Gmail.

My question is, isn't "fact that genetic material does not change during an animal's life." contrary to the whole evolution thing? Doesn't it assume that it never can happen because we've never witnessed it evolve? And what about the aliens... couldn't they have zapped a crow and made it into a chicken? Seriously, people like these so called researchers bug me when they try to prove something as science, which heaven forbid has to be based on facts and not faith, and they use assumptions like that as fact. Anyway, that's all I got to say about it so there!

Or pay an extra $4/month for a second starter account. That's less than a coke per week.

We put the sermons on CD at my church and had a lightscribe drive and our Pastor wanted to use it to look nice, but it took so doggone long to print just one label we scrapped it. We ended up with a CD/DVD label printer. It uses thermal transfer to print from a waxy ribbon onto the surface of the blank CD. We get ones from Kingdom that have absolutely no label at all, including manufacturer stuff, and print our own ink labels that way. No sticky paper labels and gadgets to apply them, just click the CD into the printer and wait a bit. I think it's 2 mins for all 4 sections to print. WAY faster than the lightscribe. I do not know of any other discs that will work in that drive, but don't take my word for it. At 20 mins per label we gave up before even looking for alternate sources.

I know what you are getting at, Steve, but I disagree. Here at TCH we get MUCH more than we could ever pay for! One thing you can do is to put the name of the hosting company into Google (in quotes if there are multiple words) and see if there are folks ranting about them (good or bad). Every company has a few people unhappy but if you start to see complaints about downtime or bad support and it's more than just a few guys that are being babys about it then you may wish to consider another host. Don't take every one at face value because some people won't be happy no matter what they do, but if it's a pattern be careful.

Here's a great tool for anyone who wants to create or work on their .htaccess file or the things it controls. It's called the .htaccess File Generator. NOTE: Make sure you back up your file before putting the new one in place... just in case it's not quite what you wanted.

PC/PS2/MAC/PSP/Internet/Xbox - the line is blurring so fast! I don't see much difference between SOCOM on Xbox and me playing City of Heroes on my PC and using Google to hack now days. (Uh, I don't really hack, honest!) Personally, I prefer my PC to game because I have many more options on the controls.

$25 per year is worse than a scam... it's highway robbery! This kind of scam has been going on since Network Solutions got competition... from that time on there have been schemers trying to fool people into renewing with them.

Hi Mel, You may want to see if he can run a tracert from HIS computer and email you the results. That's the best way to see where the hangup is. It's obviously fine from most everywhere else. There may be a block on his ISP, his machine (hosts file for ex), or a failure between him and here. Also have him try to ping the site name AND the server IP address just to see if he is resolving the name properly. His ISP's DNS lookup may be hosed too. Come back here if you get any other info... maybe one of the gurus here can find the breakdown.

"We are number one!" is the name of the team sponsor - Total Choice Hosting!

If you can't find anything before you get there, check with the base doctor and see if he can give you anything. I'm sure you're not the first recruit with acne and they are used to dealing with stuff like that.

I guess the question is, did they kill the online character of the deceased guy while it was played by the friend? Is there no respect for the dead? Mike's right, it's a game. Don't take things too seriously or real life will become meaningless. Perhaps that's why so many younger hoodlums have no hesitation in killing people in real life.

When you are ready to put your pages online (that FTP thing they are talking about) then check out this Compilation of FTP Information to get some more info.

It is possible that using PHP to modify the file returned to the browser may be changing the lastmodified time to now. You may try to read the time that the file itself was last modified with filemtime.

I wouldn't hold my breath for it. That's just begging to get our servers blacklisted - intentionally or not.

Pretty but dumb as a box of rocks! I was walking to work from where I park and on several days over a 2 week period I heard a ping-ping-ping-ping sound of something hitting what was obviously metal. One day I saw him. It was a stupid woodpecker on a metal power pole we had in the area. No bugs in there stupid little woodpecker. Only in Key West!
