Yes, this is what I ment. One job that will repeat on those days you tell it to run.

I have never used the cron job option, but I would think you would only use the same cron job for all the days you enter.

I don´t know who the toothfairy is, but I always believed that Bill (Head Guru) is Santa Claus.

Is the whole site not working or some modules? There are lots of modules not working after applying the fix, but that is not a joomla problem itself, more of a problem for respective module maker to fix.

The latest stable cpanel are 10.8.2-STABLE 120 according to http://layer2.cpanel.net/ and it is what is running on TCH I believe.

As far as I know, the user_prefs file is the only editable file, but you can submit a ticket to the help desk and ask them if other files can also be edited or added.

Not sure if this will help, but have a look at this thread and see if it helps. Also, I modified this threads title so people with similar questions may find it easy.

It´s basically just to modify the config.inc.php to your needs, upload the files, run an install script, set a few permissions, and you are ready to go. As for the customization, there are several things you can change to your needs.
