Hi and welcome to the forum, Laura. You should submit a ticket (as you tried to do) and tell them an alternative phone number. When asked for info you don´t know in the helpdesk just enter "unknown".

For the image map, please see http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_examples.asp and scroll down to HTML Image Examples and click on "Create an image-map, with clickable regions". Not sure it will help, but you can try. For the other problem, only solution I know is the webprotect feature in cpanel.

Remember if downloading this, that its really is just a release candidate, not ment to be used in live situations (as they say themselves).

Hi, I had a look at their installation guide and it looks like you will need to chmod some of the folders to 777. Might this be the problem?

There have been problems with ipb such as this one where avatars are involved. Can this be the reason?

I see antispyware/adware programs as IRL doctors. One doctor is good at this and the other is good at that, no doctor knows everything. I run a combination of several "doctors" all are free and do what they should. The day the "doctor" that is good at all stuff that can happen to my machine exists, then I willing to pay for it.

I had no problem with those links in I.E so the only thing I can think of is, have they applied all the patches that Microsoft gives us every month?

I don´t run Spy sweeper Mrs Muddled. I installed it to check out if I could find a solution for you regarding the "other user" question. After checking this I uninstalled it, since I am running a few other free programs that do pretty much the same as Spy sweeper.

I´ll ask my aunt & uncle who lives down there if they can send you some.

There seems to be something wrong with the weather. Today for the first time in history as I understand it, it snowed in the very most southern part of Sweden today...in august. This should not even happen to the northern parts according to the weather guys.

Hi Mrs Muddled, I have just installed Spy Sweeper myself and it looks like its one of those programs that are supposed to run in the background. And why not, it will give you the most protection if it is active all the time. To answer the second question... Right click the icon near the clock in the tray and choose options, then uncheck the option "Sweep all user accounts" and see what happens. I would not recommend this since each time the other account is logged in, sweeper will not run and you might get stuff you should not.

Mrs. Muddled, Running Hijackthis will do no harm. It´s what you do with the stuff in the report that it gives you that may give you a problem. If you want, take Jim suggestion and publish the report here and we will take a look on what you can remove and what you shouldn´t. To do this, please do the following. 1. Go to: http://www.merijn.org/downloads.html 2. Scroll down to where you can download it and save it to your computer. 3. Locate the file hijackthis.zip and unzip it. 4. Doubleclick the file in the unzipped folder. 5. Click the button "Do a system scan and save a logfile" 6. The result will show up in notepad and then copy and paste it here, then we go from there.
