Perhaps phplist in cpanels fantastico would be an alternative?

Welcome to the forum, zippityda. Yes, Dada can be a bit tricky to set up and use. I would look in to phplist, located in your fantastico part of cpanel. Its a one click install and even though I havent used it, I have checked it out and it looks much easier to use. One thing to keep in mind when using any mailinglist script is that TCH only allows a specific amount of emails to be sent from one account per x minutes. This amount per minute is not something we like to have discussed in the forum, so please open a ticket with the help desk and they will provide you with that information. If you haven´t got the upgrade yet, please submit a ticket.

You could make a "We are redesigning" index.html page and then rename the current index.html to index2.html. This way the visitors will not get an error and you will get time to redesign it behind the scenes. Or you could design in another folder and then just move it to the correct place when done.

Just an little addition to this upgrade... After the upgrade, you may meet the following message in your administration: What you will need to do (as far as I can tell) is: 1. Download the globals.php from the root of your joomla directory. 2. Open the file and replace the following line >define( 'RG_EMULATION', 1 ); with >define( 'RG_EMULATION', 0 ); 3. Upload the file and check in the administration if the message is gone.

Hi QT, First of all the copy question... Download all of the folder to your own computer (keeping the file structure), then just upload it to the correct folder. Subdomain question... When you create the subdomain, the folder will be created automatically. So best thing would be to rename the current folder to folder_old, create the subdomain which creates the new folder and then copy all over to the new folder.

Since your current host use cpanel I believe our techs can do a cpanel to cpanel transfer for all the accounts. As for the username question... I can only guess here but I think it will be the same, unless our techs see something unsafe with your current usernames.

That should would be ok.

For the side question... You should be able to do that, but you can always open a ticket to the billing people and they will confirm it.
