Thanks Mike, I hate you now. I cant stop playing this dang thing just cause I want to see my name on the board. Yet this is the best I can get so far.
-
Well it isn't natural in the military Groovy. Sweetener
-
Joe, That application will not work on our servers, it's the ASP part. I would look at osCommerce, easy to install and easy to work with.
-
Augie, Welcome to the family. I am glad you decided to stay. Thumbs Up

I only see one post

Rick, You can always start here http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/help/id76.htm and if you have specific questions ask away and we will be happy to assist.

What about having the font on your site and having the page reference it? I do that with my sig, wouldn't that work for an entire page. I guess I had never thought of a safe font and just made the page.

The new AUP is more relaxed. Previously one could not have a subdomain that was not a direct relation to their site. Now I can have my site robs domain.com and a sub of jeff.robsdomain.com where Jeff can put his stuff and it doesn't have to be related to my site at all. It has always been the case that you can not point another domain to a subdomain or sub folder on an existing site here, it has to be pointing to the same main page the first site is pointing to. Now you may do anything with subdomains but That is unless Mike or the big man himself want to jump in and say otherwise.

Raul, Lets say I have robsdomain.com and robs-other-domain.com. I have an account with robsdomain.com and all traffic is going to robsdomain.com/index.php. Follow me so far? Now I want to point robs-other-domain.com to robsdomain.com/index.php. This is allowed, in fact I am doing it right now. Lets say I want to point robs-other-domain.com to robsdomain.com/forums or /images or whatever. You may NOT do this per our AUP. There is no other option that would not violate that AUP.

That is 100% correct.

Welcome back home bbommarito

animgirl, We would be happy to add you but it looks as if you are missing step 4. Unless I am missing it and then you can ignore me.

I do not know if it is the same posts or not but I have been cleaning up some duplicate posts. THis may be the reason for multiple email and links not getting a post.
-
And this is the first time I have seen this reply to a reply of a post I didnt know was here. I agree, good job. I will have to give this a try.
-
Negative, You do not need to go into the www area. Look in your public_html folder and you will see a new folder there with the same name as your subdomain name. Upload your files there.
-
Well looky there. Learn something new all the time.

Dave, I have not seen a page embedded in a table before. I did a quick search and found nothing. I had always put in in a different frame when I used frames.
-
They also have a good community forum that I found all of the answers to my questions in. As always, there are some of us here that use it and we will try to help where we can.

You may not mask or forward a domain name to a sub-domain of an existing account. So you can not forward xyz.com to sub.abc.com if abc.com is hosted here. If you want to have bill.abc.com and steve.abc.com etc on your site and you are not making financial gain then if I remember correctly you are free to do so.

Merry Christmas to you too Mr. Bill
-
Zeitgeist, Thanks for the kind words. Remember Rock Sign because our customers rock. I am all for many more years myself. Happy holidays.

For what it is, the one in cPanel isnt too bad.
-
Thomas, I did a quick check and as far as I can tell the answer is no. I will look a bit more and see if I can get a better answer.
-
No extra money required. In fact there are 3 in your cPanel right now under CGI scripts. Look for Agora, Interchange and under Addon Scripts is osCommerce. I prefer osCommerce myself but feel free to go in and play around. If you have questions about any of them let us know.
