Ive used the gmail drive, but have been underwhelmed . I would also love to use TCH for an archive of my photos, and do to an extent I guess with my photo albums, but I have over 4 gigs of pics. A web host just isnt practical for that much storage. As a side note, I have seen talk about microsofts version of the gdrive. It is codenamed live drive. I gotta tell you, I love seeing competition for microsoft. I think it breads nothing more than better products at lower prices. Which I like.

I dont listen to them on CD (other than the unabridged version of Lord of the Rings), but I loved Dean Koontz's Lightning. Infact I was thinking of reading it again.

I have mine tattooed on my buttox. I figured that way, I would know if someone was snooping. Now that I have several accounts, I am very happy that I have a large rump.

I too am interested in finding an alternative to Mailman. The issues that I have had seem to be on the backend (which is I assume why head guru referred to it as a POS). TCH support has been great as far as looking into it and making "adjustments", but I dont know what the issues are. I just get a response similar to scutchen's. <suggestion>perhaps a little more communication on this would be nice </suggestion> I have spent some time looking for something other than mailman that will allow any users to email one address, then have it send it out to all. I have found two, but both were moving to Mailman. The University of Washington switched from Listproc stating that mailman supported their volume of lists. ie they had too many different mailing lists for listproc. The other one I found was Majordomo. I understand that it is old and not supported. I hesitate this option. When I get some time I will look into them and see what i can find out.

Im kinda with DWD on this. I would sure like to be able to back up my photos. There is a local company here in utah that will allow you to upload your photos to their site (from there you can order prints and stuff like that). They keep your photos for you as a back up. They allow 3gig I think and they back everything up to tape on a regular basis and keep it in a vault in the granite mountains. I thought it was a sexy idea, just wasnt executed very well in my opinion. I would however need to filter out all of my pics with me in my undies Can't have those getting out. I might want to run for President.

Seo, Google, And Domain Name Forwarding
wampthing replied to charlesleo's topic in Web Site Promotion
I have a domain parked on top of one of my sites that has a higher google page rank. If I were to do a redirect, google would not view it as a seperate site, and credit the page rank to the main domain name. Is that right? -
I can. Some of the states darken when they are hovered over.

When I first set up my coppermine account I had to go into the groups in the admin section. the users were allowed to upload pictures but the admin showed that it was limited to 0 as far as file size. Id look into that and see if that has something to do with it. you can change it to anything you want

I got it from hotscripts. it is called randomquote. it has a simple interface where you can search your quotes, and add or delete them. I searched all of the script files to find a link to the site, but was unble to find one... which is hard to believe. I think it is the one called randomquote.php, but their download page isnt working right now.

It sounds like it could have something to do with the paths of your images. Check the HTML to see that the path is pointing to the correct folders. That would be my first thing to check

I will do that. Thanks!

Thanks Jayson. Im going to look into this as well. Seeing how I have the other working how I want it to, Ill most likely leave it there, but this will be fun to see another method of doing it.

David, All fixed. Thanks for taking the time to look into the code so closely for me. Everything was surprisingly easy to fix once I was able (with your help) to see the problems. It is amazing how stupid little things like "/jscript/jscript" can mess you up and frustrate you to death. Come to find out its just a stupid mistake that I wasn't able to identify.

Works Perfect!!!! Thanks. The year of the current selection of photos stays open, and I was able to get the <head> <body> etc out of the include. I had to leave the Java Script reference in there. Is that bad to have it in there twice, once in the header and then again right above the links as well? Assuming its not, Everything is perfect! Thanks again
