One thing that I like about Mailman is that I can set up one email address to forward to a list. for example the email address XYZ@**** goes to X@****, Y@****, and Z@****. I use this to send out birthday reminders to my family ets. I have a script that mails reminders to one email address, and this is my way of getting it out to all addresses. It is my understanding that datamail will not work this way (anyone can mail the one address and communicate with all people subscribed). is that right? Does any one know a good alternative. I have been less than happy with mailman, but its all I know.

I would be more than happy to visit his site several more times a day in order to take the focus off of you. Anything for family.

OK. I have my CSS so that it looks normal (depending on what browser you use ). Feel free to check it out at our photo section here. For anyone else looking to do it, my suggestion would be to: 1) Follow the documented instructions, and 2) Repeat for an hour. Enjoy

I have it working. All it took was about an hour of doing the same thing over and over again. I have no Idea what the difference was (except for frustratin levels). I simply put ><?php include $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']."/pool/top.php"; ?> in the myheader.php and it worked. I still have an issue with the CSS, but Ill get after that tomorrow.

I am trying to add my sites navigation include to the coppermine photo gallery. My first assumption is that I could simply do a PHP include to the template.html, but that didnt work. After doing some seaching, I found this: I have tried adding an php include in that myheader.php file, but it doesnt seem to work. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I could do?

I just tried and was not able to get to it. I tried a couple of times, and didnt get in.

When I down load some scripts often times they are packed in a tar.gz format. I know how to upload those to the server and unpack them. There are things that I dont understand though. Sometimes when I click a link to download a tar.gz file, the file actually downloaded is tar.tar. I have not been able to unpack those. What is the difference? Also, I only know how to unpack them via cpanel. Is there a program that I can use to unpack them on my home pc? Thanks

I know how to redirect specific files, and anything in a specific folder. I dont know how to redirect an extension of .shtml to the same url, but endind with php. Id like to do it via htaccess for time sake. Any Ideas?
