Since it's all in the UK you could potentially do something - yes. You can contact the police, computer crime unit, who deal with hacking.
-
welcome to the forum Honeymoon It depends if you can find out who they really are. for example if that is their real IP address, and where in the world they are. Number one priority, to be honest, is to ensure your scripts are fully uptodate, and passwords secure.

I just did a quick check in PHP, and you can remove the folder that way as long as you have permissions on that directory and it's parent directory.

I'm not surprised by the main Virtual results. I was a little surprised that hyperthreading on / off made no difference on the VPS case - although clearly made a difference, as expected, on a standard machine.

The UK number works because I'm usually based in the UK The US number works on VOIP when I'm in the UK.

The reseller accounts do just have different bandwidth and disk space between them. The only exception is the branded nameservers which we include with the larger accounts. Once you have your reseller account set up, PM me about the nameservers on the smaller account, I'll see what I can do.

Hi Daryl, welcome to the forums To have multiple different domains hosted on one account, you need a reseller account. Then you just set the nameservers to the correct nameservers, and create a cpanel for the account (there is no charge for doing that). You could park them on your standard account (again there is no charge) but they must all go to the same files, which is not what you want to do if I understand correctly

These logins are where you have logins for things like password protected directories etc - so yes, it could be logins to other software on your account.

I'd suggest opening a ticket at the help desk and we'll take a look at that error for you.

Hi Donna, We chatted via IM. As you correctly guessed your's is 208.76.81.10 We can only follow up on the spicifics via a ticket (which we did). And Carl beat me to replying here If anyone else has any issues - please open a ticket.
-
A domain or something would be useful I'm guessing 208.76.81.14 but please open a ticket

The servers are starting to ping and come up on the new IP's and connections Yes, the dedicateds IP's will change - I wrote to all dedicated servers we were changing IP's on to let them know of the changes - I can let you know the specific IP's shortly
-
The short answer is yes. The main IP of servers already moved to the DC will be; 208.76.80.10 bespin 208.76.80.11 coruscant 208.76.80.12 danuta 208.76.80.13 endor 208.76.80.14 kalee 208.76.80.15 naboo 208.76.80.16 ossus 208.76.80.17 r2d2 208.76.80.18 tarvis 208.76.80.19 yavin but of course accounts with SSL and hence their own IP will be moved to a new IP, different from the ones above.

MAINTENANCE NOTIFICATION DOWNTIME EXPECTED WINDOW OF MAINT: 8PM EST - 3AM EST Following our recent news about Improved network connections and TCH getting it's own IP net block we need to change the settings, and the IP addresses of all accounts on our servers to the new settings. We will be doing the changeover for during the maintenance window from 8pm EST on Saturday 24 March to 3am EST on Sunday 25 March. During that period there will be a period of approx 2 hours when the servers will be off-line, as we connect in all the new network providers and change the IP's. There will also be a period of propagation for the new IP addresses.

Our mystical owner Bill Kish, worked his magic - and managed to find you something that is a year old ... but hopefully a big help.

Welcome to the forum Bill It's an unfortunate position. You had a contract with someone (not us) to host your web site. They decided to stop hosting, and cancel the reseller account they had with us. When they cancelled the reseller account - all data was removed. If you have a backup, we will happily restore it for you. Unfortunately, we do not have a backup of your account, because you were not a customer of ours, and the reseller (who was a customer) cancelled the account. I tried calling, but you were not there, so I left a voice message, I'm afraid that says the same thing - we do not have a backup, but if you have one we can restore it for you. You can IM me, or any of the other TCH staff from the list of contacts - as Thomas says.

Hi Henrietta, To POP the email you should use the full email account (user@yourtchdomain.com) and the password for that email account. It should not be the cpanel one (unless you are using the cpanel username )

Welcome to the forum, clbama

Thanks for the kind words Henrietta, and you are welcome, I really enjoyed our chat I've made it part way towards you, but Bill has now locked me in our Data Centre for a while in Michigan ... if I manage to escape I'd love to come and see the cows and surf. I looked at the photos you had, it looks a really nice spot.

Could You Imagine Tch's New Data Center Using This?
TCH-Andy replied to youneverknow's topic in Hardware Corner
Well, we all know Bill is really a robot, so he'll be fine in the DC without oxygen -
There will be a short pause in the migrations, then they will be to the new connections
-
It's just so that others can't run it.
