  2. And what if the person the auto response is going to doesn't have flash or what ever on their system. I try to stick to plain text for an auto response. Maybe my corporate mentality showing through here.
  3. I tried upgrading two Xp systems and neither of them would launch Firefox when done. I ended up uninstalling .09 and .08 and installed .09 again. Then it worked fine.
  4. I don't use the default account. That is the catch all account and the one that I have :blackhole: to discard anything I don't create an actual account or forward for. Jim, since I rarely use web mail and use a POP3 client I just create forwards to one account and I only have to pop one instead of multiple accounts. I do this for my personal accounts as well as my corporate accounts. I'm not really lazy, I just try to find the simplest methods to perfrom any task.
  5. There are a couple of WAP site builder pieces of software out there. Not sure how Dreamweaver is at making them since I don't use it. But I have used these. WapSite from http://gaurang.cjb.net DotWap and Santanabuilder from http://www.inetis.com
  6. Actually no I don't create an account for it. I just create a forward to my regular account for any address I want to use. Then I can just delete the forward and :blackhole: takes over. You don't have to create an account to use an email address in your domain. Forwards do not need an account, just an address to send it too. Works great.
  7. Welcome to the Family secretniche
  8. Thomas, I don't know much about DVD burners but I have one in the latest machine I bought. I imagine it is as good as the other ones out there. If I were buying one to put into an existing machine I think I would look for one that could read/write to both DVD + and - formats. I know they are available because the one in my machine is a Sony and can write to both. If you can't find one that read/writes both formats make sure to get one that is compatible with what ever other equipment you plan to use it in. I have found in my own experience that the -R format seems to be more compatible with other devices than the +R format.
  9. From looking at the previous posts it appears to be a routing issue to your site and not something wrong with TCH. I would recommend opening a Help Desk ticket (link above) and ask if you can be moved to another data center.
  10. Works both ways for me. No password required.
  11. Glad you were able to solve it. Welcome to the family, Issac!
  12. The link Thomas provided is a TCH link. You can transfer your domains to TCH using the link provided.
  13. You could always find a skin that you like and install it. Check out www.ipbresource.com
  14. Correct Tracy, that's what I did when I moved my sites here.
  15. Well, even if they did create this list I would not put any of my email addresses on it. I agree that something needs to be done to curb Spam but this isn't it.
  16. samurai (just watched the Last Samurai) corrected spelling
  17. Thanks Mike, forgot!
  18. Tell me about it.
  19. Please open a Help Desk ticket. Thanks.
  20. It is possible to move without any downtime or minimal downtime. You will require at minimum 2 hosting plans. One for site A which you could park the mymothermyfriend.com over and another for site B. Or you could purchase a reseller plan and host all three separately. Sign up and get your space, then transfer your content to the new sites. When everything is copied change the DNS servers to point to the TCH nameservers. Propogation takes between 1 to 3 days, email sometimes longer. But if you leave your existing sites active until propogation finalizes your visitors wouldn't even know you changed hosting companies. Hope that helps.
  21. Welcome to the family, N~
  22. Looks good at 1280 x 1024 Thumbs Up
  23. Welcome to the family, Jen!
  24. Welcome to the family, Canrock! Not being familiar to anything FP is creating for you BB wise I would recommend using a true BB software. phpBB and Invision can be installed through the cPanel. Both are very good. phpBB is easier to setup since there are fewer parameters required.
