  1. I just couldn't wait until this evening. So as promised, here is the big announcement.
  2. Bob is mostly right about XP but a few manufactures do still offer XP on a limited number of products, including Dell. I only know this because I buy mostly Dell equipment and spend more time on their site than I should. As far as refurbished goes, I try to avoid them as well but I have purchased a few items from the Dell Outlet. All of these were in the "previously ordered new category" which are usually custom orders that were cancelled. Now I'm not saying run out and buy a Dell, just sharing my opinion as I have had good luck with them. The best advise when looking for a deal is as Bob said, check out the older models which really are not that old any way.
  3. Squished cake is still cake
  4. OK here is the deal, February 12th is my birthday and I tried to convince Bill to get me a present. Well I had no luck with that, however I was able to convince him to give all of you a gift. Wonder what it will be? We will be making this announcement on Tuesday February, 12th 2008, at 3pm EST on the forums. p.s. I like chocolate cake
  5. Please check it out now.
  6. Well I cheat, I get emails directly from Fantastico when they release an update In this case the Fantastico WordPress went from 2.3.1 to 2.3.2 on 01/22/08.
  7. You should be seeing WP v2.3.2 now. Let me know what server you are on or open a ticket and we will investigate.
  8. You can call domain support at (480) 624-2500 and they should be able to assist you with merging the accounts.
  9. I would reccomend starting here ---> http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp Just read each section under HTML Basic, it is a quick read and provides working examples that you can even edit.
  10. This may fit your needs h**p://www.selectdevelopment.com/products/phpautodealer/
  11. Did you check the program developer's site? Most provide the same help information online.
  12. Hi Brad, If I recall correctly you are using wowbb for your forums? If this is the case it works like most other forums when setting bans. Just log into your admin panel and add the address under the option "bans and filters > banned emails". You do not have to enter the entire address for this to work, just entering "mail.ru " will block all registrations from that domain.
  13. No definite plans at the moment but I may attend this year.
  14. Oops, sorry about that and glad to hear you got it fixed.
  15. We didn't it turn it off, you selected the option to "Skip this question" so its opening the file manager with the last options set. Please see this post to correct it - http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...st&p=211572
  16. Welcome to the forums sandi I took a look at your site and there are no files in the image directory. I'm not sure if we did transfer or you uploaded the files, but nothing in the images directory made it. Just upload the missing files and everything will work fine.
  17. Someone is trying to gain access your site by remotely including scripts to upload files for a number of nasty uses. For the most part we block attempts such as these but we can't always catch everything. You should insure your scripts are secure and sanitize any data passed via a URL, also make sure you are not using any open permissions. I would go ahead and open a ticket to the help desk asking for a review of your files to insure nothing has been compromised.
  18. Their instructions for including the script seem to be lacking. From what I can see they are asking you to include index.php then add an echo for the output. If this is the case, the echo is also in the included index.php file and needs to be commented out there. The other option would be to not include the script and just modify the template file they provide to look like your site.

  20. Check out xampp or wamp, either of these will work and are easy to setup.
  21. I would have dug deeper but didn't care to tweak/disable your hacks/plugins.
  22. If you have it setup and working in a script then check your config files. If not just delete, recreate with new pass, and assign the user back to the database.
  23. Take a look at our previous discussion about these issues and the article I linked to. It will give you a good insight into how and why this is done. http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...st&p=207296
  24. You're welcome and please see this post for more details
  25. Actually, cPanel released the latest stage2 stable build on December 13th, which we are currently running. This is the first stable release of cPanel that supports Apache2 and we are currently reviewing this for our setup. We will be testing one server(yet to be determined) within the next 24 hours, once this is complete we will announce the upgrades for all our servers. This upgrade will also include a move to PHP 5.2.5 as well as enabling support for PDO MySQL and SOAP.
