Just testing a post via the Wii's opera based browser.

The grouptivity plugin is only compatible up to WordPress version 2.3.3. If you disable this plugin your permalinks should work properly on your older posts.

This traffic was all from a web crawler at glumper.com (aka skreemr.com). I have now blocked this nasty crawler on the server as they don't seem to be very useful or obey robots.txt.

Most of these registry files are rather simple, here is a sample one created using Coppermine. >[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\PublishingWizard\PublishingWizard\Providers\My Photo Album] "displayname"="My Photo Album" "description"="My Photos" "href"="http://www.abc123.com/photoalbum/xp_publish.php?cmd=publish" "icon"="http://www.abc123.com/favicon.ico" Once you download this file, its just a matter of clicking on it to add the entry. As you can see above it is only adding site descriptions and links to the script. I have not tested this for sites like flickr, but can only assume they would store the same information as it should be standard for windows.

Congratulations Alex !! and I will take a beer too

I am assuming you uploaded those png files via ftp? If so you need to upload the images again in binary format instead of ascii, or upload them via cPanel. I grabbed the image you posted and uploaded it via cPanel, it now displays properly.

That would be the link I posted earlier

Also note that Google uses StopBadware.org for identification of sites that it deems harmful. You can view these reports at http://www.stopbadware.org/home/reportsearch , however, you will still need to resolve this with Google.

If any one comes across this issue, you will need to follow the instructions provided by Google at http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/b...py?answer=45432 Once you have the details, we can then provide assistance if needed.

This has been corrected.

Sure you can, in fact we have a few already made that you can use. Just take a look at http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/web-hosting-links.html

As a former firefighter and having had to wear a memorial/mourning band myself, I just don't see it. This is just a simple ribbon with text and does not wrap around the shield. Ribbons on the bottom of a badge usually contain things like department, location, rank and while black is not common color so departments use black on gold/silver. The shield you see in the logo is the original US highway route marker used from the 20's - 70's. However, I do understand the thought that it resembles a badge, as both the shapes of the route markers and some badges originate from the basic shape of the shield on the US Great Seal. Just my thought and a bit of history-not trying to pick on anyone-so please don't take it that way because you were not the first to say it looks like a badge. As for the logo I voted for #1 but since we couldn't decide, I leave it in your hands.

What I found was a comment were the user had entered their email with more than one @ sign. Upon removing this comment the error went away and your blog loaded fine. I then created a test comment with an incorrectly formatted email address and the error returned. I attempted to duplicated this on my site with a new version of Wordpress but was unable to enter an incorrectly formatted address due to Wordpress' address validation. It appears you are using an older version of WP that does not check for a valid email address and allowed this bug to occur. Your site is now working fine but I would strongly recommend updating to the latest version to prevent any further issues. If that's not immediately possible due to modifications/template changes you have made, I would at least look into correcting the email address validation.

I grabbed your ticket and your site is now working properly. I will explain the issue shortly, just seeing if I can replicate it on my own wordpress install.

Defining Multiple Multi-recipient Forward Email Addresses
TCH-Dick replied to rarpsl's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Unfortunately, this exact feature request was submitted to cPanel in 2005 and still remains open. -
Sorry, I don't have any recommendations but wanted to post some information for any one coming across this thread. We don't provide streaming media services as it requires specialized server side software that is too resource intensive to be run on a shared hosting environment. However, you can run streaming media services on our dedicated servers(not semi). To "stream" from our shared servers you have to deliver your video using "progressive download" or "http streaming". This is not really streaming, but a very simple download of the video file to the users' computer. While this is not true streaming, it appears to stream as the majority of media players allow the video to begin playing the file as soon as sufficient amount of data has been downloaded. Just follow the steps below for "http streaming" on our shared servers: -Create a video file in a common streaming media format -Upload the file to your site -Create hyperlink to the video file or use special HTML tags to embed the video in a web page. When someone clicks the hyperlink, their media player opens and begins "streaming" the video file. If the file is embedded it will play on the page in their browser.

Not sure if I should post mine but here it is

Are you using MT? I ask this because MT stores the posts in your database and generates its static pages from these entries. My knowledge of MT is very limited, however, I assume removing the page but not the database entry would cause the page to be restored each time the site is rebuilt.

Thanks for bringing this topic up again, as you no longer have to go trough the process I previously posted. There is now a link at the bottom of your cPanel to correct this, just scroll down and click on "reset all interface settings". This should clear any custom settings you have made.

Since we have nothing to hide we have decided to open this post up a bit more. I have now merged an internal thread with this one that contains all communications concerning this issue. I urge everyone to read this thread again and come to your own conclusions. *note that personal information from third parties has been removed for their protection.

Why not purchase a template from the site Zac linked to above? It will give you the layout you are wanting and a working example to learn from.
