  1. The problem is with one of the admin hacks you have installed. If you look in your forum directory you will see I have placed a new directory for you labeled admin-nomods. You can use this directory to verify that the admin hacks are the problem. -First rename the admin directory to admin-old -Then rename the admin-nomods directory to admin -Now login to your APC and the left panel menu will appear I will let you have the fun of figuring out which hack is causing the problem
  2. I took a look at this script and they assume you have full access to the server and are not installing to a virtual account. Since you do not have root access you need to create the database, then use the option "The databases have already been created" during setup.
  3. I'm not a fan of MT but it will be interesting to see what develops from this.
  4. You are not seeing the Application Data folder because Microsoft hides system directories and files by default. Open your profile directory Then go to Tools>Folder Options Select the View tab Check Show hidden files and folders Click Apply then OK
  5. MyDB Studio works fairly well, however I'm not sure if they have updated it in a while. MySQL offers several free tools.
  6. There is a bug in Cpanel that will cause this issue. Please open a ticket and paste the following: "Please check /home for my latest backup and move it to /home/username/. Also please remove any old backups from my account in /home."
  7. Fantastico will only update a script that has been released as a stable or final version. While Fantastico versions do tend to be behind, in this case dotproject v2.1 has only been a final release for 3 weeks now. Just something to keep in mind when looking at the versions in Fantastico.
  8. Hi Nat, Sorry I don't have any advice about the contract but I can help you out with the actual change. Just follow the instructions for Changing the Registrant Account for a Domain Name, once completed the other party will receive instructions on how to complete the change. These instructions will include having them create a new account for their billing and other information. There should be no cost involved in this process with the exception of add-on services such as private whois. If you have purchased any add-on services they will be cancelled and the new registrant will have to purchase their own.
  9. This appears to be known issue with OE. Try the fix at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...b;EN-US;q314424 to resolve this.
  10. Hi Todd, Glad we got things working for you and thanks for the feedback.
  11. Don't forget to backup your files and database before you make any changes.
  12. All PHP5/Mysql5 upgrades were completed this morning and the setups reviewed through out the day. The upgrades went much smoother than expected although we did hit a couple of bumps with my scheduling changes. I would like to thank everyone for their patience during these upgrades and thank our staff for all the extra time they put in. If you have any issues or concerns about this upgrade or your scripts, then please open a ticket and we will gladly assist you. Also note that we have provided a server with PHP4 for those that need more time to make changes, just open a ticket and request a move. We have also pinned several fixes for commonly used scripts in our Scripting Talk forum. We will add more as we come across these fixes and please feel free to share any you may have.
  13. Thanks for sharing your concerns but please note for future reference that any scheduled window for maintenance/upgrades/migrations are not set in stone and may change. We gave sufficient notice to all users to prepare for these changes and had we changed the schedule by a week I could understand the cause for concern. We scheduled these upgrades a week apart to allow for issues on our end; since there where no issues, there was no benefit in delaying these upgrades. If you have any further concerns about this matter please open a ticket with the subject "Att: Management". Thanks
  14. Just an update that we are ahead of schedule and will be completing the last of the PHP/MySQL upgrades tonight. The final servers needing upgrades are: 316 317 319 329 335 345 364 366 369 379 384 386 387 390
  15. The error you are seeing is due to an older version of the plugin PHP Markdown that is not compatible with php5. I have replaced this plugin for you with the latest version and your site is now rendering posts correctly.
  16. Farewell my friend. You were an inspiration to us all and will be forever in our thoughts.
  17. Glad you were able to sort it out, I know I have that problem all the time. It took me forever the other day to realize that I had some how used (s) instead of ($) in front of a php variable. Really not sure how I got crossed eyed enough to do that, since they are no where near each other on the KB.
  18. For the most part we do not provide support for third party scripts, however it never hurts to ask. If it is a simply problem we usually can assist or at least point you in the proper direction.
  19. Sure, the upgrade changed the php memory limit to the default setting of 8M and I changed it to our standard config of 32M.
  20. This has been corrected.
  21. We are postponing the remaining upgrades scheduled for this week due to the holiday and will resume on Sunday, November 25, at 12:01 AM EST. Happy Thanksgiving
  22. Hi Dan, Server 76 actually gave us the most trouble last night so its good to hear all is working well for you. I can't give you an eta on the migration for 76 at the moment, but promise we will post it before hand.
  23. This has been corrected, please check it out now.
  24. Thanks for the kind words All the prep work paid off and the upgrades have been flawless so far. We did see less issues with scripts than initially expected and the techs have been working hard to assist in updating those customers scripts that we can. We will be kicking off this weeks upgrades tomorrow night and they will go as well as the previous week (knock on wood). Thanks again and if you do have any problems please let us know.
  25. That format would work if you were grabbing the URL via wget but not when accessing the file locally. Try this >php -q /home/my-accountname/public_html/cgi-bin/backupDB/backupDB.php StartBackup=complete nohtml=1
