$72 For A Two Year Domain Renewal.
TCH-Dick replied to Nossy's topic in Reviews of TotalChoice Hosting
I'm sorry you had this issue but we have no control over their systems. However, I did contact our partner to test this and we were unable to duplicate it using my personal account and the accounts of other TCH staff. It dont matter what information we entered or transposed, the incorrect cards would not validate against my Name, Address, or Expiration Date. -
The only time these numbers are changed by us is when we migrate a server, as the old server data does not apply. The recent outage was major but it was not a complete outage and only affected our primary route. Therefore, hyperspin was still able to reach the data center after only a few minutes into the outage. We are aware of this discrepancy and are working with hyperspin to better detect outages of this type.

Lost Subdomains And Redirects - No Help Received
TCH-Dick replied to rbeforee's topic in Reviews of TotalChoice Hosting
Sorry I just noticed you said you were aware they were lost in December. If you can give me the name of at least one sub other than those I listed, I can then investigate further. -
Lost Subdomains And Redirects - No Help Received
TCH-Dick replied to rbeforee's topic in Reviews of TotalChoice Hosting
This is result of the re-provisioning performed on your account back in December, 2008, due to it being hacked via insecure scripts. All records are lost during this process and why we stated, "The account restore will bring your account back to a fresh state. The account restore will bring your account back to a fresh state. All data contained within the account will be deleted and will never again be accessible". I apologize if this was not made clear at the time of the re-provision. After reviewing the logs prior to the compromise, I can only see that the following sub-domains existed: binder perez wr I have now added theses subs to your site, however, you will have to setup the redirects as they were stored in htaccess. If you need any further assistance with this matter, please update your ticket and reference this thread. Thanks -
This is a new package and it appears you have just changed the nameservers today. You will need to allow a few days for the changes to propagate and the traffic to be logged before the stats start working.

Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

We are not blocking your feeds in anyway, and I can view them just fine in FireFox but not in IE. It appears you are using the Hot linking feature in cPanel and this is most likely the source of your problem. Try enabling the option "Allow direct requests" under the Hot linking feature, this should correct the problem. Please let us know if this helps.

This is just simply not true, DomainsByProxy is just a third party service for your whois information. The have absolutely nothing to do with your domain registration and can not take your domain. More information would be nice, however I am sure of one thing-that you allowed your domain names to expire. Then most likely someone bought them up and are using domainsbyproxy as well. Or, your registrar is now requesting that you pay a standard redemption fee to renew the domains.

You have the port listed twice, remove the extra :21 from the end of your IP address.

In your cPanel click the phpMyAdmin button in under the Databases section. Select you database on the left of the phpMyAdmin window and then click the SQL tab. Paste the following line in the SQL query box and click Go. >UPDATE `wp_options` SET `option_value` = 'http://www.shatwo.com/thissideup' WHERE `option_name` = 'siteurl'; Your wordpress blog should now load properly.

Super Noob Getting Started Questions
TCH-Dick replied to seaofbass's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
That time from is for any changes you make to a domain registration to propagate. Concerning the login issue, the hosting and domain services are separate services as well as systems. Therefore you will need to establish an account for the domain services. This can be done during the transfer order at http://www.securepaynet.net/gdshop/transfe...;prog_id=simple . If you want to establish an account before making the order, please visit http://www.securepaynet.net/default.aspx?prog%5Fid=simple and select "Create Account" at the top of the page. -
Thanks for sharing and glad it all worked out. Good job Scott!

What's The Current Hardware Being Offered For Semi-dedicated Or De
TCH-Dick replied to austin's topic in Pre-Sales Questions
Hi austin and baronz, I apologize for the lack of information on the site but the semi-dedicated plan you see is accurate but in the process of being retired. The semi-dedicated plan is essentially a large reseller account and is not a virtual dedicated server. We will be replacing the semi-dedicated plan with a virtual dedicated server offering at which time we will update the listing. At this time we have a few virtual dedicated servers available, however we have not yet listed them as stated above. If you are interested in our virtual dedicated servers before we list them, please open a ticket or email sales@totalchoicehosting. Thanks -
Yes, by adding a custom MIME Type via your cPanel under Advanced > MIME Types. The custom MIME type should be created with the following settings MIME Type: application/x-httpd-php Extension(s): .php .html If you have any problems just open a ticket and we can add it for you.

We we would be missing some crew from TCH if I walked into our data center and seen that.

The new dashboard takes a bit to get used to, but the visual editor option is still there. To enable the Visual editor just click on your name in the upper right hand corner(where it says Howdy) then uncheck the option "Disable the visual editor when writing". Click Update Profile and you are in business.

Actually, you are now able to edit your MX records directly from your cPanel. However, you do have to open a ticket for other changes such as CNAME and A records.
-
Something doesn't sound right, you should have custom name servers on your dedicated server. Please open a ticket to the Dedicated Server Support department and we will help get things sorted.

I forgot to mention that this feature also provides subdomains for webmail, webdisk, and whm.

The redirect you are seeing is a new feature released last summer. This feataure is a proxy service for users that have the standard ports blocked. Once enabled it allows you to access your cPanel via port 80 using a subdomain(http://cpanel.danzfamily.com).

Thanks Thomas, that was frustrating but I finally got it. It reminded me of the old ball and cup game.

If the user/pass is the only issue, then try this recommendation on the second page of this thread.
