  1. Thanks for your suggestions! I, too, migrated from blogger to WP. I was doing fine up until the upgrade from 2.7 to 2.7.1. My dashboard doesn't toggle anything at all, especially tags. Something got messed up somehow, but I am not sure what. Everything was fine till that upgrade. In fact, I didn't know anything was wrong at all till I tried to upgrade using WP's self-upgrade feature, which should have gone smoothly, but didn't work. Then everything else got messed up once I tried upgrading manually. I don't think I will need to create a CNAME unless I start using blogger. I just
  2. Thanks for the welcome, and thanks so much for your reply! I guess I should clarify: I am not sure it's a fantastico issue, but a WP one. I have tried manually installing as well, BEFORE trying to delete and get it done through Fantastico. I can go back and manually re-install, but I'll likely still get the wonky dashboard, which I have gotten every time I made the upgrade from 2.7 to 2.7.1. That, I know, would need to be taken to WP's support forums. I mainly wondered if there was a simple way I could continue to use my hosting and domain name here and just use a newer blogger l
  3. To make a very long story short, I have had my domain since December of 2007, and have had my hosting here, where I've been using self-hosted wordpress as my blog/website's publishing platform. Unlike most people, who LOVE wordpress, it seems like I have had nothing but trouble with it since day 1.
