Hi, Just as an additional point, you may want to think about a reseller account if you are planning to get several hosting accounts here, then they will be all under one roof! Jim
-
Hi, Glad you got everything working. As far as I know, there is no bug in CP, although I will have a look. Happy Easter Jim
-
Hi, As rick had the similar problem, Give Rickvz solution a try, it seems to work! Let us know how you do! Jim

Hi, Could you specify what payment methods you will be thinking of using so we can corrleate them to the correct definition of backdoor? Thanks, Jim

Hi, Have you checked the theme to make sure its 1.1 compatable and that there is no bugs in the theme you are installing? I know on PHPBB the old themes do not work with the current phpBB release. Jim

Hi, Neither cause that much of a strain on the server that would be worth worring about, although the htaccess is obviously going to use more processor juice (all of about 0.0000001% extra!) I would say, its best to do it which ever way you want. Personnely I would do it via the redirect in CPANEL as then i can edit this without damaging any other files should i accidentley press the wrong button! Jim
-
Intresting, does that work accross subdomains too? Jim
-
Hi, I would bring your main domain over here. You can choose within the signup proccess your login name etc (assuming no one else has taken it!) Welcome to the family! Jim
-
Hi, Yes, as part of CPANEL you can upload files to your website Jim
-
Hi, Ah i see, just wanted to make sure. Unfortuantley this is where i run out of grey matter because I don't know. You will have to wait for someone with more grey matter to tell you if we do or not. Sorry I can't help you on this final stage! Jim

Linh, Could you please provide a URL where you have seen this "trust" logo just so that it can be doubled checked and we will all be clear then Jim
-
Dombri, Have you tried using the script supplied in the CPANEL? Jim
-
Hi, I would set your account to do it about afternoon of the day before hand just to make sure! Jim
-
Hi, Yey! Will do! Should be home in an hour or so. Talk to you then Jim

Hi, Yes Hotlink is supposed to help but it doesn't. I believe its a fault with CPANEL itself as I have seen other places on the net having the same problem Jim

Hmmm. This Is Just A General Php/sql Question
TCH-JimE replied to nolageek's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
By clicking on that link i get the following error: >Access denied for user: 'reelide_movable@216.180.243.122' (Using password: YES) in /home/reelide/public_html/films/test.html on line 18 The rest of the errors occur due to this one line. Are you able to create a test database and get this user account to work on it ok? Jim -
Hi, No, try this (although do correct me guru's if i am wrong) If you buy a SSL cert elsewhere and want to use it on TCH Account $35 + cost of you buying it elsewhere Nada Else! If you buy a SSL cert from TCH and want to use it on TCH Account $35 + $85 = $120 Nada Else! Yearly upkeep after the first year Cost of renewl of SSL cert. e.g. from TCH $85. Nada Else! You pay nothing else! (as far as i can see!) Jim

I guess that will answer it, so I guess its every month at the beginning of the month Jim

Hi, Log into CPANEL, goto "redirects" under site management and type in the detials there. Or you could do a redirect within the HTML yourself. Jim
-
Hi, I have to admit, hotlinking does not work on my site. Unless Bill has come up with a solution Jim

Hi, I have learnt over the years that its best to find a hoster which not only is cheap but also provides good tech support. No offence to your current hoster but he sounds like a load of twaddle. Upgrades that are pushed here are always done with the upmost care and attention to insure that the smallest problems are sorted, and if not they always try there best to sort it out. I look foward to seeing you around the forums soon Jim

Hi, Meta tags are tags but in the head of an html document to help some search engines. This page may help you: http://www.searchenginewatch.com/webmaster...cle.php/2167931 Also, people will link to your URL, there is no need for a re-direct. Its best to have a seperate page on your website with maybe banners then can use etc! Jim
