  1. Hi, If the gif one works, then you can do multi lists and just list all the image tags. Using a *.* would not work Jim
  2. Hi, Yes we allow the mail function in PHP. Try us, if after 30 days you don't like it, you can have your money back as per the gurantee, but i can bet my bottom dollar, you will be sticking with us! Jim
  3. Hi, For a 20mb its easy to work out: 1 Gig = 1000mbs 5 gig = 5000mbs Therefore 5000/20 = 250 times it can be downloaded before you will eat up your bandwidth for the month. It really depends on what you have on your site. On mine I hava mixture of php, images and shockwave and flash, and i get about 2000 unique vistors a month. However, this does not equal the number of hits. A user can be around the site for ages, and also come back several times. What else will you be hosting on your site? Music? More video? Btw any site offering you "unlimted" bandwidth is lying. There is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth. They will either have a cap they dont tell you about (although they will swear blue they dont) or they will terminate ur account just like that or will go bust very shortly. You can only have domain name per account remember unless you have a reselller account. You can always try it for 30 days and get your money back. Also, a warning email should be sent to you before you reach your bandwidth limit, and you can always buy more or upgrade your plan. Any more questions you would like to ask? Jim

  7. Hi, You do not have a lame name server. The fault reported in that above test is due to the current problems we are having with our servers. However, one namesever still works and we have have redundant name servers too. Your site is work just perfectly at present and the problem you are posting up is more then likely and ISP problem. Thanks,

  17. Copied from the Net: How to Write Meta Tags <META NAME="description" CONTENT="A description of your website that has lots of keywords in it, and is about this long in length."> (When in doubt about length, read the FAQ for the engine or directory you are submitting your URL to.) <META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="keyword keyword keyword"> (For keywords, list from the most important word the least. Start with the one word you think people will type in to find your website. Remember to offer various ways of spelling your top keywords if there are several.) Note: - The "old" style was to separate keywords with commas. Today's engines no longer require them. Simply put a space between each word. <META NAME="keyphrases" CONTENT="keyphrase, keyphrase, keyphrase"> (Key phrases are sets of words like "Search Engines", or even a sentence, such as "How to construct meta tags" listed by importance.) Note: - This meta tag is rarely used anymore. It's part of the "old" way of building meta tags. The thinking used to be that people typed in more then one word, ie. groupings and phrases. Webmasters forsaw this and wanted a way to make their page come up when a phrase was entered. Today, with the elimination of commas, engines can combine all keywords into an infinite array of possible combinations. Therefore, the keyphrase option is no longer necessary. Using it will not hurt as long as you keep within the proper amount of keyword density. Your title tag needs keywords in it too! <TITLE>Top keyword first subject description with more keywords. </TITLE> Note: - Today, title tags are still critical to rank. Avoid using "hype" words, marketing language and "Welcome to". Directories can refuse submissions with "hype" words. Since most directories list alphabetically (I know, it's unfair!), it's wise to begin the title tag with a word that begins with a letter near the beginning of the alphabet. Using symbols in the beginning of the title tag, another "old" trick, is considered SPAM now. Even more important is to pack as many of your top keywords as possible into your title tag. Don't go past 63 characters. Would you like search engine spiders to follow your text links to find your other pages? Add this meta tag in with your other ones and they will. If you prefer to prevent crawling and indexing of pages, simply type in "noindex" instead of "index, follow". <META NAME="robots" CONTENT="index, follow"> Jim
