  1. Joomla is a CMS (Content management system) which allows you to build a website rather easily, and allow, if you want, others to contribute. I am not sure of the interaction between the two, but if its like any other commerce package that joomla supports, its fits in snug into it. Basically you build the shop in the commerce package (might even be able to control it in joomla) and build the rest of the website in joomla itself. I love joomla and rate its as one of the best CMSs i have found to date JimE

  23. Hello, My 2 pence: Hard Drives - Very good and the ideal solution. However, having just seen a mates external hard drive fail, its not infalable. I suggest having two hard drives, one you backup every day or week and then backup again once a month on the other hard drive. DVD Small storage space compared to a hard drive, but cheaper and better for small storage. Again, double backups are recommended! JimE
  24. Hello, A quick search revealed this is a common problem on phpBB forums. Anyway, try this solution: Let us know! JimE
  25. Hello Wilba, The computer spec you listed is good for basic word processing, internet surfing. However, it will struggle to run XP (you need 512 ram to be happy) and it won't play any of the latest games as it does not have a 3D graphics card. With laptops being so cheap, I would not buy a 2nd hand laptop unless that was all I could afford. Mitchell spear Try this handy little link: http://www.tomshardware.com/2004/12/21/the...t_2/page14.html Its worth reading through it all and remembering that processors do vary depending on what they are being asked to do and what other hardware they are connected too. E.g. you can ruin a CPU rating by restricting memory or the graphics card etc Any more, just ask! JimE
