  1. Got it to work. (Amazing what walking away and clearing your head will do! ) It was a matter of cleaning out cache and putting the proper path in. Now I just have to figure out why the graphic isn't showing, but I know that's path related to. Thanks for the tip btrfld!
  2. I established a subdomain. I have an index.php created in the subdomain that contains include statements. When I bring up subdomain.maindomain.com/index.php on my web browser and view the source code, the includes are not there. There's something I'm obviously missing, but just cant see it! Anyone have an idea? (It's not a big deal...just curious!)
  3. I can't find a reference to any mp3 files in your main page source code.
  4. The other voltages are coming out of your power supply. Those all look normal. I agree with TCH-David...appears to be the CMOS battery went kaput.
  5. First, welcome to the forums. I'm sure others will chime in with their $.02, but here's mine: First for your desktop, there is a Wireless USB adapter available from Netgear. (I saw it recently at a BestBuy.) So that may be an easy solution there. I'm assuming that the cable modem plugs into the USB port on one of your desktops. If that's the case, you may have to get another modem and a router combination that will work with your ISP. There are several types out there...it just depends on compatibility. Generally speaking, if you talk with some of your local computer dealers, they should provide you with some insight for your specific needs. I know it seems like it's very confusing, but the more you talk with people (and research on your own - do a google search), the more you'll be able to understand how it all works.
  6. Welcome to the forums Raven5. Glad to hear you got things working. It's sometimes the little things that cause the biggest problems!
  7. Montty: Glad to hear your situation was resolved. What else can be said about a company when the owner steps in to help? Just thought I'd add a "FYI" for you or anyone else following this thread. Because of the way our help desk works, whenever a tech has looked at a problem, the ticket becomes closed. It's not a "door slam", but just how the software works. If the results are not what you exepected, then simply reopen the ticket as you did. (I've even had to do it myself on occasion!) Again, glad to hear things are back to normal.
  8. Welcome to the forums! Check out the links offered and if you still have any questions, don't hesitate to ask here!
  9. Have a look at SmartFTP.
  10. First, welcome to the forums! Personally, I think the awstats are better than webalizer...there' more information available. (Maybe even too much! ) But that's just MY opinion!
  11. Welcome to the forums kst! If you have any problems, please don't hesitate to ask your new extended family for help!
  12. As far as I know, it is for virtual hosting only...not reseller accounts. But the reseller prices are still a good deal!
  13. I also am using ver 1.0.1. and don't have any problems. I have seen some sites that "pop up" whole new browser windows...fortunately I don't visit them often enough to be a problem. Maybe a program reload may help.
  14. Just as a slight difference, I noticed that when viewed in IE, you have a "shadow" on the left side. Firefox doesn't show that shadow.
  15. Welcome to the forums Bruce! Let us know how things went with your install so that others can learn from it.
  16. How do you race a boat on-shore? (Unless they take a wrong turn!)
  17. Kinda like: A baby elephant Off-shore powerboat racing (as opposed to on-shore?)
  18. Your best bet is to open a Help Desk ticket (link is at the top).
  19. If you are using a "cut-and-paste" javascript, have you tried pasting it in the HTML tab (the area that has HTML only)?
  20. The "...for Dummies" series are pretty good. I have several and still use them quite extensively!
  21. You have to know the "command line" that you need to run the script. Think of it like a command prompt in windows where you need to enter something to run a program (like \windows\folder\program.exe). The other "click on options" are all options to tell cron when to execute your script. That's the very basics. There are other sites out there that can explain how cron jobs work, some a LOT more technical than others. Plus if there are other family members who have used this, I'm sure they will be more than happy to chime in.
  22. Can this page help you out?
  23. Many companies hear about their service when things DON'T go right! Thanks Weezy for your kind words!
  24. John: Glad you got it figured out! Thanks for posting your results, too. I'm sure it will help someone somewhere with a similar issue. (I know I learned something here!)
  25. Welcome to the forums John. Learning something new is always a good thing! Way to go! And as Don said, there are many people here willing to help you out!
