  1. For work, we have a Government Travel Credit Card issued to us from CitiBank. Their website REQUIRES IE. I first tried in Firefox and got an error that states that I "must use 128-bit encryption". That's funny because I use Firefox for my personal banking w/o any problems. I even emailed CitiBank and they said that I HAVE to use IE and they have no plans to change that fact.
  2. Welcome to the forums and family. Setup is a lot faster than it used to be, but it's not instant. If you don't hear anything after 24 hours, contact the Help Desk (link above) for assistance.

  9. While that may temporarily stop it, the best prevention is to keep things updated with the current software. There are usually exploit fixes that accompany the updates. Only so much can be done on the server side of things. From their website:
  10. Make sure you have the latest version of your forums. I noticed you are using version 2.2.6. The latest vBulletin out is 3.0.7 per their website.

  12. Since it still timed out, (and only using Mozilla 1.7.5) I would tend to agree with Jim. Sounds like a setting specific to that particular version of Mozilla. P.S. It's getting warmer here in Orlando...bring on summer! Oh, and welcome to the forums!

  14. Strange indeed that it would be slow on one program and not the other. By chance are you using http or https? I had the same issue using http with XP. Went to https, no problem! Just a tho't!
  15. Welcome to the forums. I also was one of those who used Pegasus years ago. After trying everything from OE to Pine, I too prefer Thunderbird.
  16. Welcome to the forums and family!
  17. I think it makes life a little easier to update pages if you use includes. It's also easy to incorporate databases into your site. The are, by no means, the only reasons to use PHP. Compared to some of the other family members here, I have limited experience with PHP. However, what little I am using, makes updating on my site VERY quick and easy. (And I always try to find the easies way possible! )
  18. I don't think it does natively, but you can always enter code into the HTML tab on Frontpage! I've done that in the past and it works just fine!
  19. Doesn't IE have an option to automatically delete Temporary Internet Files when you close the browser?
  20. You may want to check some of the options available to you in the webmail application. I think some allow you to set parameters to do this. Just a tho't!
  21. Story here about a farmer in the Czech Republic. Poor guy! What a way to go!
  22. Mike: Let us know what you ended up doing. Just curious.
  23. Possibly because some people have nothing better to do with their lives. Such is life on the Internet. I'm like you...all of these type of messages get the "Delete" button immediately.
  24. Welcome to the forums! I did a quick search on SquirrelMail's website and found this. Not sure if it's exactly what you are looking for, but I hope it helps! You can also check their "plugins" section to see what else is available.
  25. Welcome to the forums. See? Someone DID know the answer!
