ImageMagick is a package that you can write scripts to access to do things like thumbnailing on the fly. It can be very powerful but generally people use CGI or PHP scripts to access it. Did you have one in particular that you're looking at?

You generally have to upload cgi scripts in ascii - you specifically said that you uploaded in binary, so try it with ascii. =)

You're not missing anything, anonymous ftp is disabled on all servers and can't be enabled. =)

You might check through the scripts in the Image Gallery section of Hotscripts.com and see if anything there suits your needs. =) I personally use gallery which I believe can handle user-albums but I am only using it for mine. =)

While I don't mean to be a standards elitest, this is where validating comes in very very handy. You have a bunch of errors, but of the ones that might be causing the problem is indeed the HTML commentings, check errors 20 and 21 cleaning that up may help a lot, it s hould just be <!-- COMMENT --> =) Maybe others in there causing problems too. Validating is how I "fix" my weird problems which is why I looked there. Hope that helps.

formmail is a banned script because it is a huge security hole and easily exploitable. You won't be able to get it working here - for yours and TCH's protection. You should have a look at Ultimate Form Mail which many of our family members have used successfully.

norlos, Are you running zone alarm or any popup blockers/firewalls? What browser are you using? Is it a new install, and what version? A bit more info is necessary to help. =)

Is this a zip file type download? If so, you can go to hotscripts.com and look for download counters. If it's an image that they right click and save - there's no way to know that people did that, I believe. =)

GD is fully installed. =) The ImageMagick path is: /usr/local/bin

You could also try the open source Gaim. I preferred that to Trillian on the PC, and the backend of the program I use now runs with gaimlib (i use Adium on the Mac). It's a very good, flexible program and free. =)
