  1. Thanks Andy, you're a star. I'll have a go and see how I get on.... When my old system died I thought i'd got back up copies of everything - including bits and pieces I'd downloaded on the net but when I tried to load them onto the new system they didn't seem to work - I lost quite a bit like that and didn't want to end up in the same position again! Thanks again for the response, I promise one day I'll find an interesting question to ask! xx
  2. Hi All!! Happy New Year to everyone first off!! You've always managed to get me out of a pickle in the past (despite me being completely useless!!) so I'm hoping someone can help this time... Apologies in advance for the essay! As the start of 2006 has already been a little rocky for us I thought it best to be safe instead of sorry and find out how to make a back up of my hard drive before that decides to die an untimely death.... I'm running Windows XP home edition and according to microsoft if I use my original disk I can install the facility from there and back up fairly easily.... however, that's where the problem starts.... I bought this system about a year ago and never received any disks. Being a layperson I didn't even realise I should have had them and unfortunately the company went bankrupt 6 months ago. I've heard I can back up by pasting to a CD or DVD, and basically want to know if this will backup my entire hard drive or just bits and pieces?? I'd really like to do the lot if poss.... Wow that was long winded!!! Sorry - and thanks in advance to those of you still awake! xx
  3. Hi All I've been lazy and instead of transferring and re-building one of my sites in DW I decided to just update it a bit in Fp. I've just finished and published successfully but now none of my forms work and I can't figure out why I've tried reading through previous posts but none of it works. I've got an error in the properties of one form which says: (1) Saving Form Results to E-Mail will not work unless either the "SMTPHost" or "SendmailCommand" server configuration parameters are set. Does anyone know how I go about doing this (before I tear all my hair out??) I'd be VVVVV grateful for any help! Thanks in advance!
  4. Oh thanks Bruce! You're a star - and thanks for the welcome! Cheers!
  5. Hi Another stupid question from a complete layperson.... Can anyone tell me what I have to add to my HTML code so that when I click on a thumbnail image it opens a new window? I'm dumb I know, and really can't work it out - can anyone help? Cheers! Sarah
  6. Thanks Mitch, will do. Don't hate me but I was kinda hoping it would be a TCH problem, because I'm so useless with my system... Experience tells me that it won't be though! Thanks Again!
  7. Hi This is my first post so apologies if I'm being thick but as a TOTAL layperson I wondered if anyone knew what this means? I've been trying to update my site for ages (it's beyond being desperate) but every time I try something happens and now I've had this message. 500 Internal Server Error Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@heirloomjewellery.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/1.3.29 Server at www.heirloomjewellery.com Port 80 I have another site (also with TCH) which uploads fine, also on FP. Should I hang my head in shame or just go and cry...??? Thankyou!
