Madhoo, Thomas is correct. PM me your ticket number and I will look into it. Welcome to the forums.

Soon, We have a few issues we need to work out and then we will have everything ready.

Most of what I read is work related. I havent read a real book cover to cover since Dragon Tears from Dean Koontz. I watch a lot of Japanese subtitled movies though, I have to read them. Does that count? I would like to read more but I do all of the cooking, cleaning, getting the kids up and putting them to bed and get everyone to work and school as well as this. I am happy to catch half an hour of the news and a movie twice a week.

OK, So my English isn't that great. I can't help it. Fortunately, I got this far on my good looks.

OK, It is Nuke and it is a theme that is not working. I cant think of anything specific to fix it. Most of what I have read involves going into the database and making some changes. Sighmetal, PM or IM me when you get the chance.
-
PHP Nuke maybe?

Soon we will have all of the information you will need to make the move. We just have to iron out a few more things.

Right now mine is using 93,000K. My 3 IE windows combined are using 17,000K.

I do not have specifics at the moment and cannot say if it is the same in the newer bersion. In the past, owners of sites that had Mambo and had a large group using it ran into trouble when they had a great number of members accessing it. Smaller sites didnt pose a risk. Things may have changed since the newer version has come out. Be aware, we do not police our sites. We only notice when they become issues. If you want to install it and run it you may, we just want you to know that if your site gets large it may become an issue.

2 seperate people submit, 2 tickets created. Reply goes to the email address included in the ticket. Will it go to 2 support techs? Maybe, it depends on who is working support and when the tickets were submitted.

Hey, never hurts to ask.

DHCP should be fine, just saves some time. Bob can let you know for sure though.

Thanks for the update David.

That will be tough to pin down. What speed DSL? What are the network conditions? Speeds change constantly as internet traffic ebbs and flows. You will never get a set number that works all of the time. Let’s say you have 256Kbps DSL, and your page is 50KB. Divide 256 kilobits by 8 to get 32 kiloBYTES per second. Now divide your 50KB by 32KB and you have 1.56. With that your page would load at a little over one and one half seconds. The above example is a perfect world scenario. Now factor all the traffic that is using the same portion of the network that you are to get to your site. New virus out and spreading? Now you have even more traffic to compete with. How things should work and how they do are entirely different things in the internet world.

I Am Trying To Backup A Vbulletin Forum Database
TCH-Rob replied to rnmcd's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
I do most of my backups to my home directory, FTP them to my computer and delete the backup file from the server. -
Iki, No need, no one is upset. We can understand the frustrations of making sure all is well with our sites. Thanks for understanding the reasons behind the decision.

Lol, I just wanted to see if I was smart enough to do it.
