Bah, I don't want to hear complaining from the Canadians. The canadian branches of my company get THREE more days off during the year than we do. I tell you, it's not fair! I couldn't bank or send mail today, but by golly I had to be at work.

I have to admit that one of my favorite shows lately has been Most Extreme Elimination Challenge. That show makes me laugh til tears run down my cheeks! However, it definitely isn't for the whole family. Their commentary is more than a little crude.

I think your site is VERY easy to navigate through, and the information seems quite clear and concise. From an aesthetic standpoint, the only problem I have is that I have to scroll to the right to see everything on almost every page (800 x 600 screen resolution, IE browser). Welcome to TCH!

Now that she mentions it, I did find this confusing also when I was signing up. I had to send an IM to support to make sure I was doing it in the right order.

I think the design and navigation are great as they are now. I would focus on figuring out what information people seem to be missing and adding it or putting it somewhere that is easier to find.

Yikes Those formulas are enough to give me brain cramps. I'll have to go through my site and check links and meta tags. From what I read, having my index page be an intro page with almost no text is going to hurt me, right? If it gets into Google at all I'll be happy since the ONLY things that ever comes up when you do a search on "gryfalia" are pages involving my hubby. He's had that nick for probably 14 years. Thanks for the pointers - I'll do some work and then post to get it added to the family pages.

Question - I have a casual site that's mainly there for family and friends, so I've never been terribly concerned about proper structure, layout, etc. I just build a page however the mood strikes me. Still, I think it would be nice for the site to come up in a search when someone puts in "gryfalia" or our names (even though there are ten million Ken Roths in this world). I did a search engine submit when I first uploaded my site, but is there anything else I should do? Do I need meta tag keywords on EACH page for the search engines to pick me up?

Actually, I use IE....that's really odd. I do have my gamma up a tad, but it shouldn't make that big of a difference. I'm going to e-mail the link to myself at work and take a look there. (Edit - Later) It must be something in my settings at home because I do see the gray at work. Even the bullets look different here. I'll have to do some adjustments when I get home so I don't miss anything else, especially when building my own site!

Since I'm pretty much no use at making more than basic technical observations, I found the following spelling/grammar error. Under FAQ, "How long will it take to get my order?" "You order and satisfaction is top priority!" should be "Your order and satisfaction are top priority." On the right, the links under Kentucky Arboretums and Planting Instructions are invisible until I put my mouse over them. Looks like you have a white font on white background. I love your garden articles! I wish I could have a veggie garden. I have a larger backyard, but it is completely in the shade. The most I can muster is a rhubarb patch.

This is a hard one for me because our anniversary is two weeks after Valentine's Day, so often we have big plans for the 28th and don't do much on the 14th. I like flowers, but honestly red roses cost a FORTUNE in February and I prefer lilies and carnations anyway. One year my husband sent me a small vase of flowers early in the morning, then later on I got a candy bouquet, and in the afternoon I got a big vase of flowers. Another year he decorated my cubicle with four mylar balloons (one in each corner) and a HUGE heart mylar balloon tied to the back of my chair, plus some chocolates. Let me tell you, I was the envy of all the women on the floor, and my VP asked if hubby could give some lessons to the other husbands. I've had a barbershop quartet come sing for my husband before - I think that's pretty cool. You know, you don't have to do something NEW each year - we really do appreciate the thought more than the price of the gift. How about making up some nice coupons on the computer for various things like 15 minute shoulder rub, cooking dinner, dinner and a movie, etc. that she can use throughout the whole year? The only thing my hubby rarely does that I really like is put in the time to get me a nice, romantic card that says something special. He did last year (shocked the heck out of me!) and I really treasure that card. How about getting her a maid for a day? This year we aren't doing much again since we'll be in St. Lucia over our anniversary. woooot woooot

Problem is, a great number of places like that are bogus and you end up with no money AND no drugs. hehe But I agree - codeine is good stuff when you're really hurting, and it makes me sleepy without giving me the jitters like OTC sleeping pills do.

Tylenol 3 is Tylenol with Codeine. I've had it prescribed after surgery before. No one ever said spammers/criminals were intelligent. Then again, alot of their recipients aren't either or they wouldn't keep doing it. hehe

I've never used any of them, but I think it would be a great feature to have. I'm not a programmer or scripter, so I'd want to go with whatever isn't too complicated for a novice to use.

I use 4 at home and MX at work, and I would say that if you do much web design at all, get the upgrade. I'm such a casual site builder at home that it's not worth it to me, but I was sure glad to get MX at work.

Ahhh...I did not realize that the jump menu was for when you have multiple pages in a guestbook. I think I will leave it alone then. As I told Rick after he helped me delete my first one (I screwed up some script), I wasn't going to mess around with it anymore unless I knew what I was doing. Thanks Big G!

Is there a tutorial or help page that addresses the jump menu on the advanced guestbook? If so, would someone point me to it pleae? I've looked but can't find one. I'd like to add things to the menu but am unsure how. Thanks!
