  1. I've restarted CPanel just to be sure there is no problem. Please try again and if you are unable to get in open a ticket and we will look and see what might be causing the problem.
  2. CPanel uses port 2082. Webmail uses port 2095. We do have SquirrelMail as a webmail option on port 80.
  3. I just answered your ticket but thought I would post here as well since the information is applicable for all. The stats will not show anything before a domain has propagated. If you are using the ip address to enter the site the logs for the server are updated but not your domain logs which the stats programs process. I didn't notice the last part of your post originally which would have been a clue:
  4. The best option on this would be to upload the file to your root directory using an FTP program and submit a Help Desk ticket asking us to install it. Php has a limit to the size of the upload.
  5. If you want the mail to be forwarded and not stored on the server you should only set up the account as a forwarder. There is no need to create the account in the Manage Accounts section. If there is an email account set up for me@**** and a forwarder for that address going to me@anotherdomain.com you will get email in both accounts. The me@**** mail will be stored on the server until it is deleted. As Jim mentioned, please open a Help Desk ticket and we can look at the account closer and be sure that there is not something wrong.
  6. Glad that worked. Filezilla is a nice program. It's the one I use for my own stuff. I use CoreFTP for testing things on the Help Desk. Both are nice and will let you change permissions on files, delete files, and even synchronize files between your local and remote directories.
  7. I would use an FTP client to download them. There are several good free ones. I use Core FTP and Fillezilla. SmartFTP is a favorite of Mitch and several other folks as well. It provides many more features than File Manager and uses the same log in information.
  8. Probably the easiest solution would be to submit a Help Dest ticket and we can change the password on the db. Just be sure to have the correct CPanel info and the name of the database and the password you want to use.
  9. Welcome, Mark. Glad you have joined us.
  10. I went to Amazon.com and did a search for your domain name and it gave a similar URL to the ones you gave. I suspect someone did a web search from Amazon.com and found your page and clicked on the link.
  11. The absolute path would be /home/username/public_html/filemound.
  12. I can't speak to whether it is a good idea or not. As for the how, why bother with a script to do a "touch" like effect when you can just use touch? You can set a cronjob in CPanel and once a day run this command: touch /home/username/public_html/* That will take care of all the files in the public_html directory. You would need to have a similar one for other directories if you wanted to include them. touch /home/username/public_html/otherdir/* etc.
  13. Adding additional nameservers pointing to a different IP will cause more harm than good. It would work okay theoretically if you had the exact same content on the two sites but email would be a mess. I just dealt with a Help Desk ticket where someone added the two nameservers given in the Welcome Email to the two existing nameservers. He complained that he only saw his site 30% of the time. If you have an outage message on one site then you are going to have people see that even when the site is up and working fine. Ultimately you put your trust in your host to keep your site up and running. We take that trust very seriously and if you look at some of the posts on the forum you can see that when problems occur we keep folks informed and bust our tails to fix the problem. Check the post times on some of Head Guru's posts in the Server Issues thread.
  14. /usr/local/bin/ is the path to all Image::Magick files. (I deleted the topic that was started asking this question. Please do not double post as we will see the question and answer it as quickly as possible.)
  15. Updating is pretty quick so I don't think you would have any problems. I use a program called w.bloggar which allows you to create an entry offline and then post it. It is a great addition and I think would be even more useful when on dial-up.
  16. Laugh In "Missed it by this much!"
  17. It is hard to know what the problem might be without seeing the emails and headers to determine what is happening. Be sure and check the Reply-To address and be sure that there is no typo there and that it is in the correct format. If the inbox is full when the message arrives it will go into a mail queue and the system will continue to try and send it until the inbox is available. I look at the mail queue on some servers and see many messages dating back several days that cannot be delivered because the mailbox is full. Also, is the other person receiving any kind of message saying that delivery is delayed? That information can help in determining the problem. If an account is fairly new then it is possible that the email is being misrouted by the sending ISP. I had email that some ISPs still tried to deliver to my old account a couple of weeks after I had transfered here. If you continue to have problems, please submit a Help Desk ticket and we will look into it. Always include as many details as possible, especially with mail issues.
  18. What ISP are you using? Juno, NetZero, MindSpring, and Earthlink all block port 25 so sending is not possible unless you use their SMTP server.
  19. I can take a couple of days for stats to begin to run on your new subdomains. No stats will be lost. If you would like to submit a Help Desk ticket I can manually force the stats the first time.
  20. LittleSis? (oops, wrong game)
  21. The easiest fix is to change the user name and omit the dash or underscore. That has been done with a few accounts and none are reporting any problems now.
  22. The original script will work fine from the command line or shell but you need to define the output as html text for it to work in a browser.
  23. Try it now. I just deleted the control text from one of your inboxes. I've just removed it from the main account as well. It should work fine. If not, put in a ticket so we can look closer.
  24. It should be gone now. When we were testing your account to figure out the duplicate email problem we used Horde and it creates a control message. Evolution sees it but can't get it so it just moves on. Outlook would have probably given you an error message. I removed the offending message and it should work fine. If you have any problems let me know.
  25. Post Nuke has not been an add-on option. We do have PHP Nuke available. Let me know which server you are on and I will have a look.
